Villa Santoro, a refined residence with beautifully restored trulli in the heart of Puglia. Standing out is the sinuous private pool (26x18 m), perfect for exclusive relaxation. Handcrafted ceramics decorate the spacious and bright living area. The four elegant en-suite bedrooms result from a perfect blend of modern style and traditional charm. The outdoor area is defined by two porticos equipped for relaxation or for enjoying pleasant meals in the open air.
Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and private parking are available.
Amid the gentle hills of the Itria Valley, where centuries-old olive trees mingle with the scents of Mediterranean scrub, Villa Santoro is an exclusive residence offering comfort and elegance, designed for those seeking an authentic experience in the Apulian countryside.
The beauty of the property has also been recognized by the magazine “Ville e Casali,” which dedicated an article to it.
Outside, the true highlight of the location is the large sinuous private pool (26x18 meters), surrounded by a spacious garden filled with lavender, rosemary, and caper plants, ideal for moments of fun or relaxation. All around, a patio defines the living area, with built-in sofas, a cooking corner with barbecue, and a large stone table shaded by a pergola, making every moment special and unforgettable.
The property is composed of two trulli and other traditional rustic buildings, sensitively restored with the touch of architect Bricchi, who has preserved the soul of the place. The complex is centered around a spacious living area, with an entrance, living room, and connected kitchen. The spaces are airy, elegant, and enriched with authentic details such as Grottaglie ceramics, exposed stone vaults, and carefully selected furnishings; even the ceramic tableware, available for lunches and dinners, is handcrafted by local ceramic masters according to Fasano’s tradition.
A charming glass tunnel, decorated with "capasoni", the typical Apulian jars once used to store oil, creates a harmonious connection between the spaces.
The four bedrooms offer comfort and privacy. The main body houses three bedrooms: the master suite, with a canopy bed under a characteristic ogival vault, has an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub; the other two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, share a bathroom. The fourth bedroom, with a double bed and en-suite bathroom, is located in a separate annex and boasts a large window with panoramic views of the countryside.
Each guest will receive a set of towels in various sizes, slippers, high-quality pillows, premium sheets, and pool towels.
The entire property stands out for the harmony of its light tones, which enhance the beauty of natural stone and the play of sunlight, creating an atmosphere of peace and serenity.
Ideal for families or groups of friends, the villa is the perfect starting point to explore the characteristic inland villages, the diverse coastlines of Puglia, or simply to relax and embrace the slow rhythm of nature.
On request, experiences such as cooking classes, tastings, and local tours can be arranged.
Villa Santoro is located in the beating heart of the Itria Valley, just a few minutes’ drive from the splendid town of Ostuni. This area represents the most authentic essence of Puglia, with its rolling hills dotted with centuries-old olive trees, scattered trulli, and white villages that reflect the southern sunlight. In addition to the beauty of the inland landscape, the sea is always close: the villa’s strategic position allows quick access to the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic coast.
Just a short walk from the property, you’ll find a well-stocked delicatessen and a minimarket, perfect for picking up fresh ingredients, ready-made traditional dishes, or simply everything needed to cook at home without traveling far.
The villa also enjoys proximity to the sea: in about a 20-minute drive you reach the sandy beaches of the Adriatic, where you can either settle freely or enjoy a day of relaxation at one of the refined beach clubs in the area.
Among the must-see destinations nearby are Ostuni, the most iconic of the white towns; Locorotondo, with its unique circular shape; and Alberobello, renowned for its incredible concentration of fairytale-like trulli.
