Scott Cottage is furbished to provide a luxurious home-from-home self catering experience.

Scott Cottage has three bedrooms - two doubles and one single plus two bathrooms. Upstairs consists of two double bedrooms and bathroom, with heritage rolltop bath. The blackout blinds and quiet location ensure a great night sleep, Downstairs: the kitchen/living area is a great social space with a wonderful wood burner as its focal point. One single bedroom and new fitted shower room is downstairs enabling flexible use of the cottage.

The cottage commands a great position with views to both sides of the loch and it is just a short stroll down to the Pier Cafe with commanding view across Loch Katrine. Scott cotage sits next to Wattie Cottage and Stronachlachar Lodge, all three properties can be booked for larger parties

If you are looking for somewhere perfect to explore Loch Lomond for either a family get together, reunion or discreet event, The Trossachs and the surrounding area, these holiday cottages are a must to stay.

Stronachlachar is a magical place, it is the birthplace of tourism in Scotland, with sweeping views of Loch Katrine and seeing the Sir Walter Scott steamship sail by every day during the season it is a pleasure to enjoy Scott Cottage as your home from home. Wattie Cottage, Stronachlachar Lodge and Scott Cottage were my holiday home as a child, it's a dream come true to now own and host them, introducing them to new generations.

Long childhood summers exploring the hamlet; a boat across the loch, games on the lawns - lost in the magic of this awe-inspiring landscape. The peace and tranquility draws you back time and time again. An abundance of wildlife, the surrounding forest and the shimmering ripples on the water cast their spell.

What makes this property unique

Cosy yet full of personality, this property is deceptively spacious. Uniquely decorated, with just the right twist of quirkiness, painted throughout with just the right hint of heritage colours. With 3 tasteful bedrooms: a single, a king and one twin and two bathrooms the house is ideal for a small family or couples. A short stroll (30 metres) from the loch. Scott is an ideal base to explore the Trossachs and beyond. Gentle walks, hikes along the trails or for those more adventurous enjoy mountain biking. Paddle boarding, kayaks and even a quick dip in the water are popular with our guests. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or a coffee in The Pier Cafe, just a minutes' walk from the house.
