The House in the Park
Holiday Home in Resinelli – Perfect for Hikers and Nature Lovers
This charming, old-style home in Resinelli is the ideal retreat for those who love spending their days outdoors, surrounded by nature and breathtaking views at the foot of Mount Grigna. It's perfect for hikers, trekking enthusiasts, and anyone seeking an authentic mountain experience, far from the chaos of the city. The apartment, located in one of the oldest houses in Resinelli, offers a cozy and rustic refuge where you can recharge after a day of exploring. You will enjoy privacy and a private parking space inside the park, whose entrance is just steps away from restaurants, bars, a minimarket, and the church’s playground—much loved by children.
What to Do and See in Resinelli
The location of the house is truly unique: just a few steps from the center of Resinelli, right at the crossroads that marks the beginning and end of the “Giro dell’Anello,” a relaxing loop walk that connects the town center with the various trails coming from the lake and leading to Mount Grigna refugees like Rosalba, Porta, Bivacco Ferrario.
Resinelli is a popular destination that offers unforgettable experiences in both summer and winter. Highlights include Parco Valentino with its famous viewpoint and walkway overlooking Lake Como; the old mines and their educational mining park; the sledding area for kids; or the hike up to Rifugio Porta — a starting point for more advanced trails and via ferratas that lead to the summit of the Grigna, training ground of the Ragni della Grignetta , one of the most prestigious international climbing groups.
The House: Hospitality and History
The apartment is located on the ground floor of a historic villa, nestled in a beautiful private beechwood park, and is part of an old house divided into three units.
Recently restored with great care to preserve its original charm, the apartment retains its authentic mountain atmosphere.
Access to the apartment is through a wooden door and four steps, leading into a warm, welcoming space. The kitchen, simple yet functional, features a large working fireplace that provides heat and a unique ambiance. Opposite the fireplace, you’ll find a gas stove and oven (with external gas cylinder), a small fridge with freezer, microwave and a sink — all fully equipped for preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The sleeping area includes a small hallway with a gas heater for cooler evenings, two bedrooms — one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed — and a basic but functional bathroom with a toilet and bidet shower, a sink, and a small shower with curtain, perfect for refreshing after hikes.
Outdoor Spaces
The outdoor spaces are the real highlight of our property: the windows overlook the private park, and guests can enjoy a stone table just outside the entrance — perfect for outdoor breakfasts, lunches, or dinners.
Additionally, the large park surrounding the house includes a dedicated and fully equipped area reserved exclusively for guests, ideal for relaxing moments in untouched nature. Under the big beech, the swing for little guests.
Management and Welcome
Upon arrival, the house will be ready with bed linen and towels for all guests, as well as a welcome kit including oil, salt, pepper, coffee, shampoo, shower gel, dish soap, and toilet paper. . City Tax: € 1,00 per person per night to pay at check-in for a maximum of 7 nights
