A large and spacious house for a family group holiday.

Wonderfully spacious, private and well maintained grounds in a super part of the world. Sue, the property manager/caretaker, was very kind, responsive and helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay.

The house is absolutely beautiful, as are the grounds. Every bedroom is great, there are multiple cosy living rooms, and it's so well equipped with crockery / glasses etc. Sue really went above and beyond and was so friendly and helpful. It's the perfect place to host a large group and we definitely hope to be back!

A wonderful trip for all of us!

The house and grounds are beyond beautiful and the pictures don’t do it justice. The pool is incredible and the hosts even ordered extra sun loungers for us because we were a bigger group. The housekeeper Sue was so helpful with anything that we needed and we would all absolutely stay here again. Thank you.

There were 15 of us, ranging in age from 9 months to over 60, and the house couldn’t have suited us better. It is incredibly spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves, while still feeling wonderfully welcoming and homely. The house is extremely well equipped and the grounds are absolutely beautiful — the perfect backdrop for a family gathering. A special mention must go to Sue, the House Manager, who was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful throughout our stay, and to Sophie, the Head Gardener, who was equally wonderful. We had such a memorable stay at Tormarton Court and left with lots of very happy memories. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Truly a Fine Retreat

Our stay at Tormarton court was outstanding and left all of us dreaming of return visits. The grounds are sprawling , beautiful, and soul quenching. They provide so many varied areas and landscapes to enjoy that they lured us out of bed early each morning, calling us to explore.The house itself is expansive and filled with elegance and charm. This home was the perfect backdrop to our family weekend reunion filled with connection, laughter and memory making moments. While the age of the home, it’s rural location and its sprawling size make it understandably difficult to maintain in perfect condition some more attention to dust in corners and on upholstery and removal of some cobwebs would enhance the experience. Overall though the cleanliness and condition of the home was satisfactory.
