Beautiful 2750 sqft 3 story log cabin with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths that sleeps 8. Located only 6 miles from the Village in peaceful Cloud Country West. Incredible covered decks for grilling, outdoor dining, or just relaxing & watching elk, deer, turkeys, birds, & other wildlife or simply enjoying the views. The cabin is easily accessible from the driveway to the main floor. There you will find the master suite, an open living area with fully furnished kitchen, spacious dining room & comfy living room furniture. Guests can enjoy TV, internet, or just the views through all the grand windows. The cabin also provides a loft with recliner. TV/DVD combo, and games for the whole family. Baby gates & toddler boosters available. Cabin sits on almost an acre with plenty of room for kids to play. In the winter, guests can enjoy snow sleds or tubing on the property. A 2 car garage can store your outdoor gear. NO PETS, NO SMOKING OR VAPING IN CABIN OR ON DECKS ANY VIOLATIONS $1,000.
ATVs/UTVs can be driven on the roads of the subdivision or taken to the nearby Lincoln National Forest trails or enjoy some hiking there. Less than 10 minutes from Cloudcroft for dining, shopping, golfing, spa, hiking, playground, ice skating, or skiing. Cabin is located about 45 minutes from Ruidoso for a wide variety of things to enjoy.

Fun, Spacious & Well-Stocked Family Cabin

This was our second time to stay at this cabin. The location is fantastic. And we loved all the space spread out on 3 different levels. It gives everyone their privacy. The kitchen is well-stocked and made big family breakfasts a breeze! Loved all the elk that graze around the cabin. We will definitely be booking this cabin a 3rd time as well!

Great spring break cabin

We enjoyed the cabin for our spring break trip! Well stocked with everything we needed, hosts were great communicating, great location for hiking and White Sands. Wood burning stove in the living room is a nice touch! Would recommend!

We throughly enjoyed our stay. Listing pictures were accurate. We found the place to be well equipped, although we did bring some of our own kitchen stuff. We didn’t have to interact with the owners very much, they were very timely in their response. Would highly recommend the property and will most likely stay there next year. Just wish it was a bit closer to our friend's ranch. The transit was a beautiful drive with lots of wildlife

The owners live in Texas and have always loved Cloudcroft. They have vacationed there numerous times & always wanted to buy a second home there. This gorgeous log cabin has the "wow" factor that they admired and photographed over the years. This one couldn't get away! All have very busy jobs, active lives & needed a peaceful place in the mountains to get away from the business and Texas heat. Neal & Davene are parents to these 2 grown daughters & grandparents to the 5 amazing grandchildren. Ryan & Kelly have 3 children active in sports & Chace and Kasey have 2 boys. This is a wonderful place for the grandkids to play & the perfect place to spend a lot of family time enjoying the wildlife, views, & time together making a lot of memories in the mountains. The cabin is surrounded by so many beautiful pine trees & every time this family is together, they love to play 6 handed "42" dominoes which is called "84"! This is where the cabin got its name "84 Pines Cabin"!

What makes this property unique

This cabin has all you could ever want when it comes to beautiful views from huge windows looking out to the mountains! Enjoy the peace and quiet of being in the country along with the wildlife. Wake up to elk grazing below the deck. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a nice grilled meal on the large deck while watching birds or deer. Even with all these "country living" luxuries, you are only 5 miles from the shopping, restaurants, and bars. It is also a must to make the quick trip into the village to enjoy everything it has to offer!
