Although we were there elk hunting, we are teachers and needed to do things on our computers. We were not able to do this as the internet did not work. The issue wasn’t not solved while we were there the full 5 nights 6 days. As well as minimal cell service inside the cabin. We had to stand outside on the porch to make calls or go to Allsup’s. However, one good point we had an issue with a missing tie strap and the owner resolved that. We are appreciative of that. I can honestly say I don’t know if we will stay there again or in the village we the other cabins we’ve stayed in out side of the village had no issues with cell service inside the cabin or internet issues.

Our family has been coming to Cloudcroft for over 65 years. Our dad and his friends drove from Dallas in the summer to get out of the heat. Later, we came as a family with grandparents and stayed at The Lodge. We have great memories of golfing, horseback riding and swimming.

Why they chose this property

We have owned this house for several years and decided to turn it into a vacation rental on advice of friends. We have enjoyed the process and our wonderful renters have loved staying in our home.
