This is a beautiful two bedroom unit with a great patio, pool and garden. Perfect for families, or a couple of friends. Located in a quiet area. The Sayulita town center and beach are within easy walking distance.

The apartment is located on ground level. The main space consists of a living room, kitchen with counter, and a dining area. From here you can access two separate bedrooms, bathroom, and a great back patio. The patio overlooks a very nice garden and pool. The apartment is sheltered from the street by a front gate and a nice little front yard.

Great casita

We enjoyed the private pool was not too far from the beach about a 10 min leisurely walk. Safe area everyone was friendly. Two stores very close that was super convenient. Thanks for the great stay!!

Better than expected!

this place exceeded our expectations - particularly the back yard / pool. The pictures do not do it justice !! The pool was much bigger then we thought it was. Great place , 5 min walk into the main Center but far enough away you don’t hear all the partying. Felt very safe. Stayed with my husband , toddler and baby! We loved the backyard so much! We will definitely be back

The house is so spacious! It's really a lovely space and Jewel is great to deal with. The location is in the residential part of Sayulita, which is actually pretty neat to experience, but it is loud (dogs barking, roosters crowing, cars driving by). Our only other complaint was that the pool did not get sun at all, so it was very cold. We hardly used it for this reason.

Pleasant stay

We had a great stay! This was our second time to Sayulita and chose this rental primarily because of the pool which is small but great for kids to play around in and it’s right outside the back door! The garden greenery is also very pleasant and you feel like you’re on a tropical vacation just stepping outside. We would have liked some comfortable lounge chairs though or some pillows at least to actually kick back and relax and enjoy the space. The one pillow they had was small and was covered in cat piss. Also, a small bbq on the patio would have been exquisite. This area is the real selling point of the house so I hope they take our suggestions to heart. The home itself is nice, few little maintenance items. Some latches and screens need attention. My wife complained about the look of the faucets, but they worked fine. The queen bed and pillows were comfortable enough and the ceiling fans throughout were very nice and pretty quiet as well. No AC, which wasn’t a problem at all in December but the heat and extra humidity in the summer would be challenging. The propane stove is really nice and the flame adjustment on it is great. The cookware was just ok and we avoided some of the non stick pans that were heavily scratched and peeling, but there are enough knives and such to sort through to make it work. The home is a close walk to downtown, though the first section and the road in front is still dirt. Was quiet enough, felt safe and the home provided everything we needed.

Great Quiet Spot Near Downtown

Walkable to anywhere downtown and relatively close to the beach too. The street is also super quiet and has a market if you need to buy any snacks/smaller grocery items. Lovely, clean pool oasis in the backyard, would stay again.

The Kids Loved It!

We had a great stay in Sayulita with our 2 kids in hot and humid August! The house was exactly as shown in the photos. Very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and the fans kept us cool at night. We spent mornings on the beach building sand castles and swimming. The beach in Sayulita is BUSY with many vendors. We embraced it and enjoyed buying fresh coconut water, mangos and bbq shrimp skewers! We forgot the kids sand toys one day but no problem! We bought new ones on the beach for about $5. In the afternoons we enjoyed the backyard at the house. The kids loved swimming in the pool and we enjoyed the quiet time together. For evening meals we stopped at the local shops and bought food and cooked at the house. This was really helpful because our kids are super picky! We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay!

Great house for a family

We stayed 6 days in this house and really enjoyed it. We were with our 7 months and our 2 1/2 years old and felt safe all the time. The owner and the manager answered all our questions very quickly. We had everyting we needed to cook in the kitchen. There is no A/C but it's really not necessary with the pool and all the doors and windows open. The house is not to far from the action (but enough to be quiet) but the road to get downtown is a little bit difficult with kids (young kid and a stroller), so if you have a baby the baby carrier is a must! We were sad to leave! Tank you Ruben and Jewel!

We are originally from Belgium. We've lived for 8 years in beautiful Laguna Beach, California, and now we live full time in equally beautiful Sayulita, Nayarit.

Why they chose this property

We are a family with two children. We live in this unit most of the year. It's perfect for us. We love living here in the Tamarindo area. Still close enough to the beach and the town center, but avoiding the hustle and bustle of the town.

What makes this property unique

We very much enjoy our great back patio overlooking the garden and pool.
