Our adorable cottage has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one on each level of the cottage, lots of privacy. During the fall and winter months, cozy up to the gas fireplace on the main floor or take a nice relaxing bath in the clawfoot double slipper tub. Relax! Relax! Relax! The main level has a comfortable queen bed, light and bright sitting room and bath with oversized dual head shower and gorgeous claw foot tub. You will also find the living area with Smart T.V. (No cable, use your accounts) , full kitchen with all the supplies you would need to cook an amazing meal. The back deck off of the kitchen is truly the best part of this rental. Soak up the sunrise on the comfortable outdoor furniture with coffee in hand. ( The outdoor tub is seasonal and can only be used when temperatures stay above 40 degrees.) The lower level is complete with living area with Smart TV and king bedroom and bathroom with shower. The lower level also has a patio to enjoy the shade. The fishing dock is there for your pleasure. Bring your fishing rod and enjoy. Please no swimming and it is catch and release. Due to the close proximity of the pond, we only allow children 12 years and older to stay at our property. As much as we love pets, we do not allow them at this property. Due to allergies, we take the No Pets policy very seriously, if you are found to have a pet on the property, you will immediately be asked to leave without refund and it will result in a $200 pet fine. We hate to sound so harsh but 2 of our children have severe breathing issues due to pet dander and yes, even the hypoallergenic kind. They reside in the cottage some weekends when home from college.
Please no smoking indoors. We also have 2 sister properties on an adjoining property “The Carson at Ridgeview” or “The Makenzee at Ridgeview” these are king size glamping bungalows.

This property was one of most comfortable and charming cottages we have ever stayed in. The pond and landscaping are beautiful and were all blooming. The home has all the things you could need for a wonderful stay. Sitting on the upper porch watching the moon come up or on the dock catching a fish or two. The host was there for us anytime we needed to contact them. Highly recommend this cottage and we will be back.
Best rental experience we’ve ever had! The cabin was immaculate and adorable. The views were breathtaking. The hosts were incredibly kind and did lots of little things to make our stay special. We’re so glad that we spent our honeymoon here and will definitely be back!

Beautiful country cottage in the hills!
Our family absolutely loved staying at this beautiful cottage ! The pictures don’t do justice and once you enter this home you’ll feel like you’ve entered country paradise. The owners have thought of everything you can need and we can’t wait to return!

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and felt comfortable. I hope you were able ro get out and enjoy the area. We would love for you and your family to visit us again.
This cottage was absolutely beautiful. The decor, the cleanliness, and the unbelievable property, were even better than the pictures. It was the perfect getaway for us, combining peace and quiet and natural beauty, but close enough to the city in the Blue Ridge Parkway to do many different things. We would definitely stay here on another trip to North Carolina.

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay
Staying at this cottage is just what my girlfriend and I needed. The place was very clean and relaxing. Off the back deck is nothing but rolling hills as far as you can see. On clear nights, star gazing is a must. I recommend this place for anyone who wants to relax in a peaceful setting.

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and we enjoyed hosting you!
The property is an amazing getaway destination. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The screened porch and deck over the pond are a perfect place to end the day listening to the sounds of nature and gazing at the stars. Napping in the hammocks in the screened porch is a must. Possibly the nicest property we have ever stayed at.

My husband and I loved staying here. We loved that you could only hear birds chirping and cows mooing when you open the doors. No planes, traffic, or craziness of day to day when you enter the property. It was a great relaxing weekend!

I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay! I do hope that you stay with us again while visiting Asheville.
Very nice property with beautiful views of the mountains. Very clean, quiet and great quality. Decorations were reminiscent of old farm houses we grew up in and visited as kids. The pond and boat house were really a hit with us, spent a lot of time reading, talking and enjoying the private accommodations. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back again someday.
Quaint and well maintained house. Exceeded expectations. Peaceful area, limited houses behind house, so just views of fields and mountains (along with pond).
This was our 2nd stay in your lovely home and it did not disappoint. We brought another couple with us and they loved the place as much as we did. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Only disappointment was the fish weren't biting very much this year, but I'm sure we'll be back to try again!

Just Perfect!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jacqui’s cottage. She thought of everything to make our stay comfortable including wine and homemade muffins - yum😊 The peaceful, beautiful farm setting was so relaxing that we would come back after a day of touring around just to enjoy dinner on the deck and fish a little more🐟 we will definitely want to stay here again anytime we are in the area!

Idyllic countryside property still close to Asheville
This beautiful property was exactly what our family of 4 needed! Close to downtown and yet far enough away for blissful relaxation. The darling home was perfectly appointed and we wanted for nothing! Photos do not come close to capturing the beauty of the property and surrounding lands. Stocked pond kept our teenage boys busy catching bluegill and catfish while the adults relaxed in the many picturesque sitting areas. Will definitely return if another opportunity presents itself! A++++
From the minute you walk in the front door you feel at home! The attention to detail and comfort are outstanding. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck enjoying our dinner, the beautiful view and the quiet. My husband loved fishing on the pond and caught a variety of fish. It was my first time fishing and caught a 3 -4 lb large mouth bass and needless to say I'm hooked. The covered porch on the dock was great as I sat and watched my husband fish in the rain! Lower level is just as nice as the top floor. We will definitely be back again. Thanks for opening your home to us!
Loved the location, and the owners are easy to work with. Just outside of the city of Asheville in the scenic NC countryside. Lovely cozy home with all the amenities and a true fish pond! Cozy beds, soft towels, full size washer & dryer, lots of kitchen tools, plenty of privacy. Only drawback, and the reason I gave it four stars, was because have to turn off the heat and open the window to light a fire. We had a cold snap, and having to open a window 6" made the house freezing. So we had to sit right in front of the fireplace to stay warm until we could burn out the fire. But I think nine months out of the year, this little house would be a great choice (unless you don't want to use the fireplace). The HVAC systems (one on each floor!) work great. I would definitely stay here again.
On our recent road trip we spent a few days in the Asheville area and decided to opt for some country peace and quiet. We were intrigued by the Hiraeth Hill Cottage listing and we were not disappointed. This cottage is out of a Country Living feature. It is clean, super comfortable, well equipped, furnished and maintained. No detail is missed. Kudos to Jacqui and Josh on a superb property. Jacqui was super responsive at every step from our initial inquiry through check out and follow up.
We'd give 6 stars if possible - Looking forward to a return visit!

Why they chose this property
This property is in an amazing location and the views are stunning. You have so much privacy while still have neighbors somewhat close by but you will feel you are on a remote property. This cottage is only 20 minutes to the center of downtown Asheville. Biltmore is 20 minutes away. The breweries are plentiful in our area as well. This property is perfect for couples, 2 couples, or for families with children 12 years and older. Lots of privacy with the bedrooms being on opposite levels.
What makes this property unique
The uniqueness of this property is seen in the design and layout of the home and the convenient location to so many activies such as hiking, Asheville, less than 5 minutes to the French Broad River, and the multitude of breweries. You also can get Ubers from this property.
