Great stay

We really enjoyed staying here. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. The apartment was clean and very nice. It is in the middle of numerous beautiful villages and if you like walking or biking it is also a good place to start from there. And don't miss the great market on Saturdays in Apt!

Second stay at the property

We stayed here 5 years ago in 2018 and everything was the same. Madame Guigou and her daughter Laur are both incredibly sweet. The home is simple and has everything you need and is also quite private. Our favorite things about the place are the views, the roads surrounding it are picturesque for walks, and the proximity to my favorite small villages in the area: st saturnin Les apt, Villars and Saignon. The auchan grocery store in Apt has everything you need and the best restaurant is in Villar the the Bar des Amis.

Un endroit magnifique

Un beau bâtiment historique, soigneusement rénové dans son caractère d'origine, bien équipé. Une petite cour fermée directement devant la maison, une très grande cour avec une vue magnifique sur le Luberon. Une terrasse couverte avec barbecue et salon de jardin. Situation très calme dans un petit hameau proche d'Apt et du Site des Ocre. Laure et Denise, les propriétaires, sont charmantes, hospitalières, serviables et heureuses de transmettre leur savoir sur le Luberon. Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise. Merci pour ces jours merveilleux.

Schönes, ruhiges Haus in der Provence

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Ferienwoche in diesem geräumigen Haus verbracht. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig mit sehr schönem Blick vom Garten in die Ebene. Alle Fenster haben Mückengitter, so dass wir Nachts sommerliche Frischluft reinlassen konnten.

Joyeuses Fêtes

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis et pris en charge par la famille Guigou. Nous étions même gâtés avec des œufs et de la lavande de leur propre production. Malgré les orages malheureusement quotidiens, nous avons pu explorer le magnifique paysage avec de nombreuses excursions. Superbe séjour à Saint-Saturnin !

Accueil formidable de Mme Guigou et de sa fille Laure, très sympathiques, hospitalières, à la fois discrètes et très attentionnées. Maison extrêmement propre, emplacement idéal pour rayonner dans la région, cadre exceptionnel (maison entourée par les champs de blé et les lavandes), très calme et reposant. Piscine municipale en plein air, récemment refaite, super pour les enfants, à 5mn de voiture. Nous recommandons vivement !

Herzlicher Empfang und erholsamer Urlaub

Das Ferienhaus als Teil einer Hofanlage bestehend aus mehreren provenzalischen Wohnhäusern zwischen Villars und St. Saturnin, ist liebevoll hergerichtet und beinhaltet verschiedene große gepflegte Freiflächen in Hof und Garten mit toller Aussicht in Richtung Rustrel und Luberon. Ruhig gelegen, ca. 300 m von der nächsten Dorfstraße; St. Saturnin ist in 25 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Liegt auch direkt an einer Radroute mit verschiedenen Destinationen. bouleplatz direkt um die Ecke! Vermieter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, auch zu unserem lieben Hund! Gerne wieder! A bientot.

Sehr entspannter Aufenthalt

Ausgesprochen nette Betreuung durch die Vermieterinnen. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und ruhig, da außerhalb des Ortes. Das Bad ist für große Gäste recht eng. Sehr schöne Umgebung insbesondere zur Lavendelblüte. Wanderwege direkt am Haus.

Bon accueil, location très propre, très bien située, mais salle d'eau exigüe.

Dommage, mais l'espace salle d'eau est beaucoup trop éxigu. La douche est très grande, mais le lave-mains qui sert de lavabo touche presque les WC, lorsque vous êtes au WC vous avez le genou dans le placard du lave-mains ..... Tout se situe dans un "couloir" très étroit. En plus si vous êtes plusieurs, les WC ne sont pas toujours accessibles puisque dans la salle d'eau. A déconseiller aux personnes porteuses de handicap ou de corpulence assez forte. Pas de fenêtre, pas possible de poser des affaires, sauf sur les WC ....

La proprietaire est très gentille. La maison est propre, calme et on y trouve tout ce qu'il faut. Le jardin est très jolie, surtout la vue. On va garder des très bons souvenir.

Wir waren mit vier Personen und einem kleinen Huind hier. Wir erlebten einen, wenn auch sehr !!! heissen, aber dennoch wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Provence. Unsere Gastgeber waren vom ersten Moment an sehr liebenswert und freundlich. Zum "gernhaben " ! Wir wären gerne noch geblieben, kommen deshalb gerne noch einmal.

Wonderfully charming cottage on Lavandine farm

First of all, this place is a hidden gem at a very reasonable price. It is located right outside of the classic Provencal town of Saint Saturnin les Apt, and five minutes from Villars, another cozy little village. Madame Guigou and her daughter Mademoiselle Cassan were ever so helpful and as sweet as can be. They welcomed us into our rental house (which was separate from theirs, and private) and made us feel right at home. We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable and cozy house with breathtaking views of lavendine fields. Having a car with GPS helped a lot, and would be highly recommended. We cannot wait to go back, its truly the idealistic French countryside you have always dreamed of. VOILA!

De très bonnes vacances

Nous avons été sensibles à l'accueil particulièrement chaleureux que nous avons reçu lors de notre séjour dans le gîte de MME GUIGOU . Elle aime sa belle région et nous a aidés à en découvrir le charme . Cet accueil a fait passé au second plan une certaine rusticité du gîte .

Welcoming, spacious, peaceful and characterful property in typical rural setting.

Warmly welcomed by our local hosts to an idlyllic property if you want peace and countryside but within walking (1-2km) distance of 2 typical Luberon villages. Thoroughly enjoyed and brought back local produce of wine (chateau St Pons v good), olive oil and fond memories of our kind hosts.
