Mallachie is a family-friendly home in a peaceful, elevated spot on the edge of Boat of Garten in the Cairngorms National Park. Surrounded by woodland with mountain views, it feels secluded yet is a short walk from the village shop, café, restaurant, and hotel via the scenic Speyside Way.

Spacious and well-equipped, the house has four stylish bedrooms over two floors. A bright sitting room with wood-burning stove opens to a sunroom and raised deck. There’s also a modern kitchen, dining room, utility area, and downstairs WC.

Outside, enjoy a firepit, picnic bench, garden with play equipment, and garage with table tennis, darts, and bike storage.

Excellent location especially if you have dogs as there are several walks from the house. Spotlessly clean and nice welcome treat

Perfect location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mallachie. The house was immaculate and very comfortable. It was in a great location very close to the River Spey, with lots of red squirrels in the garden and surroundings. A lot of care had gone into making sure we had everything we could possibly need which was just lovely. We had a very memorable stay and we will definitely be back.

It's in a beautiful location, surrounded by woodland which means lots of opportunities for wildlife watching. The centre of the village is less than a 10 minute walk away with a pub, cafe, gallery and post office - everything you need on your doorstep. We look forward to welcoming you back!

Fantastic, homely, well equipped property in a great location

We returned for a second time, after a lovely stay last year, for a family holiday. The property is really clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We had regular visits from red squirrels and a range of wild life. The secure garden was enjoyed by our grand daughter and the dogs. There are great walks right from the door, access to local cafes and a shop plus the opportunity to watch the steam train 6 times a day. We hope to return next year.

Great stay, as always

Fantastic property and fantastic location, great wildlife, great bike rides and loved eating at Andersons. Added bonus, saw a scottish wildcat. Our 2nd stay here, we also love Mallard. The only thing to mention, is there was no pen to sign the guestbook, we couldnt fill it in last time either. We would recommend a couple of sunloungers or comfy seats for the garden - just for when the weathers great and you want to read in a compfy spot outside. Will definately be back, its one of our favourites.
