Molino Mairena is a former grain mill near Granada, in Montefrío, nestled in the heart of nature in authentic Andalusia. It is surrounded by olive groves, streams, waterfalls, and mountains. Molino Mairena has been stylishly renovated to preserve its authentic character while offering all modern comforts, such as air conditioning in every bedroom. Our small-scale accommodation is far removed from mass tourism, is child-friendly, and we speak your language.
The mill complex features two detached houses, each accommodating six people—ideal for two families or a group of friends to enjoy time together while still having your own privacy in your own casa. Both houses are separated by a cosy, spacious courtyard with two large dining tables, 12 chairs, umbrellas, a dartboard, and a BBQ. A staircase leads up to the large rooftop terrace, which features a heated private pool, a covered lounge area with lounge chairs, umbrellas, and stunning views of the valley. The garden features a natural terrace, a Jeu de Boules court, and various olive and fruit trees. From our old gate, you can enjoy a variety of hiking trails. Molino Mairena’s location not only offers a beautiful setting but is also the perfect base for city trips to Málaga, Granada, and Córdoba.

THE MILL COMPLEX:

CASA ANDALUZ: features 3 double bedrooms, each with a modern en suite bathroom and air conditioning. All towels and bedding are provided. A fully equipped kitchen with a 4-burner gas stove, dishwasher, washing machine, combination microwave oven-grill, large fridge-freezer, electric kettle, and Dolce Gusto coffee machine. The cosy living room features a dining table with 6 chairs, a sideboard, a television, a large corner sofa, a coffee table, an armchair, and a wood-burning stove.

CASA LOS MOLINOS: features 3 double bedrooms, one of which has bunk beds; all are equipped with air conditioning. A spacious, modern bathroom with a large shower, bathroom vanity, towel cabinet, and toilet. All towels and bedding are provided. The fully equipped kitchen features a 4-burner gas stove, a fridge-freezer, a combination microwave-oven-grill, a kettle, and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine. The cosy open-concept living room features a 2-seater and 3-seater sofa, a dining table with 4 chairs, a coffee table, and a wood-burning stove.

The heated private pool is located on the large rooftop terrace, accessible via stairs from the courtyard, where you can enjoy stunning views of the valley.

In the evening, you can admire a magnificent starry sky.
