Casaleri is located on the first floor of a typical Bonfica farmhouse on the Maremma coast. Set in a rural setting, it features a large garden with a view of the sea, a barbecue area, and free private parking. The farmhouse, dating back to the 1940s, was renovated in 2025 and is rated Energy Class A+.
Guests can spend their days on the beaches along the coast or venture inland to visit the Etruscan archaeological sites and museums in Tarquinia and Civitavecchia. It’s also possible to go hiking in the hills near the coast, which are rich in forests and archaeological ruins, and visit the villages of Tolfa and Allumiere, or spend a day at the ancient Roman baths of Ficoncella. It is also an excellent starting point for visiting Rome, which is an hour away by car or train from the Civitavecchia station—45 minutes to St. Peter’s and one hour to Termini.
The apartment features two double bedrooms—one with a walk-in closet—a bathroom with an antechamber, and a spacious living room with a kitchenette. At the entrance, there is a very spacious patio covered by a pergola where you can dine outdoors, as well as in the gazebo in the garden, which is equipped with a barbecue.
The house’s vegetable garden and the fruit trees in the yard provide seasonal fruits and vegetables as they become available.
