This traditional stone house, meticulously remodeled by an architect, blends historical character with modern sophistication. Nestled in the centre of Lagoa—arguably the most enchanting city on the island—the property sits just steps away from natural swimming pools, local shops, bakery, church, and a few metres from the private CUF hospital in the Island

HOUSE:
A fantastic 6-bedroom home featuring a modern architectural intervention and interpretation. It includes one floor dedicated to visitors and two additional floors for everyday living.

Ground floor: Living rooms, kitchen/laundry, bathroom, and Bedroom 1. The living room opens directly onto a great outdoor area with a dining table and lounge sofa, perfect for enjoying the sun and spectacular ocean views.

Upper floor: 3 bedrooms, bathroom, closet area, a small balcony, and unobstructed south-facing ocean views.

Basement: 2 additional bedrooms (perfect for visitors), plus an extra TV with PlayStation.
There is also a garden with an additional terrace, picnic table, hot outdoor shower, and a foosball table.

Cleaning INCLUDED on weekdays from 11am to 1pm.

We were greeted by Maria, who was very friendly and helpful. She showed us around her lovely home with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The backyard was well maintained with beautiful flowers. The interior boasted a contemporary design with three levels that was perfect for the seven of us. We enjoyed the large living area where everyone was comfortable. Also, it was very convenient to have plenty of sleeping areas with accompanying bathrooms. The location in Lagoa was a wonderful central point for seeing all of Sao Miguel. Lastly, Maria was always available to offer suggestions as to where to eat, shop, and sightsee. We had an amazing time and are grateful that we stayed as such a nice residence.
