Maria’s cabin is comfortable. Like visiting a great aunt. The sheets and towels are clean. The hot water plentiful! And the beds sleep very well. Our group included 3 generations. We played pool, took walks, told jokes, soaked in the hot tub, and made memories. We appreciated that the cabin is pet friendly even though we did not bring our dog. The dining room has enough seats for everyone, and the kitchen with two refrigerators is very flexible. We didn’t mind a little dust on picture frames, scratches on the walls from pets, or well worn recliners in the lower level. That’s what visiting family is like. You go for the company, not a “better homes and gardens” picture perfect experience. A cabin of this size at this price is a gift for families like ours. We will be back again next year. The hostess is fantastic. She answered questions and helped us stop a fire alarm from beeping. The house is 3 levels with a spiral staircase inside. Not for anyone with mobility issues. The paved driveway can accommodate 6 cars but is quite steep. So a working parking brake is a must! The area was quiet despite new construction on the road right behind. The climate control was a challenge during our March week because nightly lows were in the 30’s while several daytime highs were in the low 80’s. Cabins are not insulated beyond the logs themselves. So be prepared to wrap up, wear socks, and adapt, just as you would when visiting a great aunt. We will book again! We enjoyed it a lot
The location was fantastic! Only 5 minutes to the Convention Center. We wanted to have breakfast but the kitchen is lacking in quality cookware (chipped and cracked mug, teflon flaking off on one of the pans, etc). The place needs some TLC both inside and out.
We had a blast! The kids loved the hot tub while the adults listened to nature! Located close to where we needed to be and things to do. Plenty of room!
It had such a cool vibe! We loved the spiral staircase and it had plenty of space for 11 adult sized humans. The double refrigerators were an unexpected gift as well. We played hours of pool, and loved our early morning coffee out on the balcony! You won’t be disappointed.
We had plenty space & it was well stocked for our stay. The rooms were set up real nice & decor was eclectic. The location gave us much needed privacy.
It’s usually difficult to find a place that accommodates all of my family’s interest because of our age ranges. But this place met all of our needs plus more. Very clean, spacious, and the property manager was extremely kind and quick to respond. Definitely would recommend you and your family stay here!
Overall we loved this cozy cabin. It was in a great location, had plenty of room to spread out and the hostess was amazing. The hot tub and pool table was nice. Kitchen fully stocked!
