Perched high above the Inn Valley, in a peaceful, sun-drenched spot near Tulfes and just 800 metres from the valley station of the Glungezer ski resort, the Alpenchalet Berggold stands as one of the region’s most exceptional holiday homes – offering unrivalled panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
Renovated to a high standard with great attention to detail, the chalet combines traditional Tyrolean charm with contemporary comfort and exquisite furnishings. Spread over two spacious floors, it offers a temporary home for up to 8 guests: 4 elegantly designed bedrooms, 2 high-quality bathrooms, an inviting Swiss stone pine lounge with a Tyrolean tiled stove, and a fully equipped kitchen-diner that leaves nothing to be desired.
The property’s distinctive character is evident in its private retreats: the private garden, the sun-drenched terrace and a light-filled conservatory with stylish lounge furniture invite you to linger – a place where alpine ambience meets superior living comfort. A private garden shed provides secure storage for bicycles, the entrance hall offers ample space for ski equipment, and the garage features dedicated ski racks. Wi-Fi, a car park and a garage are, of course, included.
Tulfes and its surroundings are among the most charming yet unspoilt corners of Tyrol. The local mountain is the Glungezer, which is served by the Glungezerbahn in both summer and winter – with an additional new lift set to further enhance the ski area in the coming years. From here, the famous Zirbenweg, one of the most beautiful high-altitude hiking trails in the Alps, leads over to the Patscherkofel and offers an unforgettable view of Innsbruck and the Nordkette at an altitude of around 2,000 metres. Another popular destination for the whole family is the Kugelwald near Rinn, an enchanting sculpture forest featuring artistically crafted wooden spheres set amidst unspoilt nature.
The location is as privileged as it is versatile: hiking and skiing routes start right on your doorstep, whilst the vibrant city of Innsbruck is just a short drive away. Ambras Castle is around 11 km away, whilst the Tyrolean State Museum Ferdinandeum and Innsbruck Central Station are around 14 km away. Those wishing to explore the historic old town will find the Golden Roof 15 km away and the Imperial Hofburg in Innsbruck 16 km away – as is Innsbruck Airport, which lies at a similar distance.
The Alpenchalet Berggold is more than just accommodation – it is the perfect setting for an exceptional stay in the Tyrolean Alps, whether you’re skiing in winter, hiking in summer or exploring the cultural city of Innsbruck.
Please be aware that events, commercial activities, or parties are not permitted on the premises, ensuring a serene and enjoyable stay for all guests.
