Cabin at Holdens Creek on Eastern Shore of VA

Quaint cabin located on Holdens Creek Farm in Temperanceville VA. Built on our farm in 2005. Located less than 30 minutes from Historic Town of Onancock, Assateague Beach, Chincoteague & NASA at Wallops Island. The cabin has a small kitchen, a loft with 3 full size beds, heating, air conditioning & a fireplace. It also has a pool table & dart board. Bring a boat there is a private boat ramp & dock going into Holdens Creek which leads out to the Chesapeake Bay. The cabin is great for hunters, fisherman or for someone who wants to sit back & relax in a quiet place.

We had an amazing stay at Holdens creek, the cabin was wonderful all around and it was great to stay in. We ended up doing some kayaking and fishing in Holdens creek and made our way down it to the Chesapeake and caught plenty of fish. We also took the kayaks to Chincoteague bay close by and caught flounders. We’d love to stay again and highly recommend.

The cabin is charming, nicely decorated and very peaceful. The host was very responsive to all our needs and questions. The kitchen didn't have any counter space for food prep which was disappointing because we like to cook. Other than that, the cabin is a great value.

This property is beautifully quiet and calm. We ate outside on the picnic table and enjoyed watching the birds in the marsh. The sound of the breeze through the grasses and leaves were lovely. The clawfoot bathtub was also great to soak in.

We had a wonderful time on our weekend stay here. The cabin was very nice and quite homey. Our vacation plans had to change due to weather but we were perfectly happy and comfortable hanging out at the cabin for most of a day to relax and unwind. eastern shore birding week

Great place to relax and rest after day of being out around the eastern shore. Felt like home with the quiet rural setting and away from city noise. Loved hearing the toad and barking tree frogs in the babbling brook every night. Highly recommend for those who prefer peace and quiet in rural settings.

It's quiet and clean ..you have heat air condition water Wi-Fi and two televisions..The bathroom is upstairs.. food and grocery stores are nearby.. a nice pier with nice dinner places in Chincoteague about 15 minutes away
