Villa with a private pool on the border of Tuscany and Umbria just 2 km from Lake Trasimeno. Villa Anna offers 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms to comfortably accommodate up to 6/7 people.
In the garden there is a lovely pool at guests’ disposal. A brand new pergola is located on the terrace between the house and the pool, and is the perfect place to enjoy lunches and dinners in the fresh air.
A supermarket is conveniently located just 150 meters away; the town of Tuoro with shops of all kinds is about 500 meters away; Lake Trasimeno has beaches, and ferries for Isola Maggiore to complete your vacation in the peaceful countryside.
The villa is located on the border of Tuscany and Umbria. From here you can explore Siena, Cortona, Montepulciano, Arezzo, Perugia, Assisi, Spello, Gubbio, as well as Florence and Rome (there is train service to both cities from nearby Terontola/Cortona station).
Historical note: in 217 BC, a battle was fought in this area during the second Punic war between the Roman army and Hannibal’s Carthaginian army.
