Die Unterkunft liegt nur einen Steinwurf vom Ufer des Medways entfernt und etwa 10 min zum Strand. Der Bahnhof mit Direktanschluss nach London Victoria etwa 25 min, ideal um Rochester Castle, Greenwich und London zu besuchen. In der Gegenrichtung liegen die Badeorte Margate, Broadstairs und Ramsgate. Die Kommunikation mit dem Host war problemlos. Zum Einkaufen sind wir in einen nahegelegenen Supermarkt gefahren, ansonsten konnte das Auto stehenbleiben. Das Haus ist für 4-köpfige Familien gut geeignet. Wir habe nur eine Spülmaschine vermisst. Das Haus entspricht englischem Standard. Eine Mappe mit Beschreibungen zu Geschäften, Recycling und Bus- & Bahnangeboten würde den Aufenthalt abrunden. In Summe haben wir das Haus als Ausflugsunterkunft genutzt.
