Family holiday

Our second stay at Oak cottage, great accommodation and management. It’s a wonderful location for walks on the pilgrims way and day trips to Dover, Whitstable and Canterbury.

Linda and her husband were super nice and my 85 year old mum loved the homely feel of willow cottage - it was just perfect for us We had such fun with the alpacas

This is a modern, purpose-built 2-bed bungalow in a quiet location.We appreciated being able to walk straight out onto the North Downs and walk to the local station in 15 minutes. It's only a mile or so from Leeds Castle. Having been previously, we didn't want to pay to visit the castle but enjoyed a free walk through the estate and alongside the castle on public footpaths.My son really enjoyed meeting the resident donkeys, rheas, and aplaccas. When we raised some small problems, the host immediately fixed them.For us, the kitchenette was a big small (especially the fridge/freezer) as we cook each evening but I imagine that would be less of an issue for anyone who eats out.Overall we had an excellent stay and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Kent.

Quiet stay

We all enjoyed our stay. Lorraine and Mick are very welcoming hosts (Thank you for leaving us bread, milk, butter, eggs and cup cakes for our arrival). The children loved feeding the animals.

Short getaway

Brought our two dogs to the cottage and had a lovely time, the hosts were kind and helpful, provided us with lots in the stay, lots of fresh dairy groceries and amenities for the dogs too. Would 100% recommend.

Lovely cottage

We enjoyed it very much. Because of the large garden it was possible to play football and badminton. I like to mention also that the railway station is not far away from the cottage. Therefore we could reach London easily.

Beautiful and tranquil but fun

We were taking my 82 year old mother away for her birthday . She is fit and healthy but everything about the place made the stay more special . The gifts left were so wonderful - bread , milk, home made cakes and fresh eggs . My highlight was Bam Bam the sheep.

Perfect

Myself and my dog Willow stayed in Willow cottage for 3 nights. From booking to arriving at the cottage it was perfect! Willow cottage is beautiful and had everything we needed for our short break. When we arrived our host had provided bread, milk, bacon and eggs from their chickens. The location was beautiful and so peaceful it was just what we needed. I highly recommend staying here. It was so lovely to be invited to help feed the alpacas and the other animals as well. The cottage is decorated and finished to a very high standard. It was just lovely.

Lovely little accommodation

Great location for accessing Leeds Castle. Nice size accommodation for family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children). Fun to have animals onsite, kids particularly enjoyed the llamas. Property lovely & clean, and well equipped.
