Checking in was challenging, the host never gave us the required 8 digit numeral code and the manager at the Night Owl couldn’t give us the keys until we had that code. We tried contacting the host multiple times while stuck outside of the night Owl after being up for over 30 hours from our long flight. Finally reached someone at Vrbo who was able to contact the third party taking care of the listing. Upon finally arriving at the location, someone had to let us in the lobby, the fob was not functioning. Had to spend another 30 minutes on the phone with Vrbo and finally, fob started working. The apartment was ok. In the listing it mentioned that there would be a hair dryer, there wasn’t. The dryer wasn’t functioning properly. Apart from being well situated, near water taxi and bus, this wasn’t our favourite

Overall not the best experience! First issue was that you have to get the keys from a convenience store located 1 km away from actual place. Upon arriving at the convenience store we were told we needed to provide an 8 digit code when we had received a 6 digit code. We tried contacting host multiple times to no avail. Finally got to chat with someone at VRBO that was really helpful, although that phone call cost me 70 of international charges. Once we finally got the key, there was no taxi available so we had to walk the 1 km going uphill with our suitcases.Upon arriving at the place, the key fob wasn’t working and suddenly started working 30 minutes later. The place was ok, they had mentioned hair dryer in bathrooms and there was none.The dryer didn’t really work properly and the appartement was very humid inside.Apart from Brisbane being a great city, we would not rent this place again
