There are two parts to the reservation process. We collect for the reservation and payment of the room, and when you check-in at the resort you will pay for the All-Inclusive portion. Once you provide us with your flight information, we will arrange your complimentary airport transfer to the resort from either Puerto Plata (POP) or Santiago (STI).

The Lifestyle Holiday Vacation Club is located along the Northern Coast of the Dominican Republic and is one of the best-kept secrets of the Caribbean that we have discovered in our 20 years of traveling the Caribbean. A great place to vacation!

As Chairman’s Circle/Platinum Supreme Shareholders of the Resort, we can extend many of our benefits to our guests. We can extend to you the Gold Bracelets with your booking, which would give you access to the Member-only areas of the resort.

Overall great experience

Overall our experience was great! The location to the beach was the shortest possible! The property was clean! The room was nice. Staff were super friendly. My only complaint would be outside of our room in that part of the resort there was a strong sewage smell.

Fantastic Vacation - Can’t wait to go back!

This was our third time booking Cofresi through John, Alyssa and Drake and once again we had a wonderful experience! Our driver was awaiting our arrival at Puerto Plata airport - he was easy to spot as he was holding a sign with our names. We had one other couple sharing our transportation and once they arrived - we were on our way! The ride to Lifestyles was quick and easy. We were dropped at the Cofresi lobby and went right into VIP services where we checked in, paid our all inclusive, got our room keys, towel keys and safe lock. We were really excited to receive the room we requested which I know isn’t guaranteed (thanks for putting in the request Alyssa!). Our room was clean, fridge was stocked and we settled right in. We went to the real estate office to pick up our dinner reservations and there were a couple reservations that were a little later than we were hoping for. We asked if there was any opportunity to change to different restaurants or times and the staff was super helpful and helped change our reservations. We also ate at both buffets, Harmony Beach & Deja Vu Beach and all places were great! The servers and bartenders were so friendly and helpful at all of the places we went. One of the days we decided to go to Encuentro to surf. The Bellhop arranged a taxi for us and they arrived on time the next morning. The taxi fare covers 4 hours to destination and back and the rates were very reasonable. Housekeeping was great, we requested extra bottled water and they stocked us up every morning. Highly recommend upgrading to the black band. Booking through John, Drake and Alyssa is so easy, they are extremely helpful and prompt in answering any questions. The information provided before our trip is thorough and extremely detailed which is a huge comfort! We absolutely LOVE Cofresi and can’t wait to book again later this year - may go for the villa next time just to try something new!

Can’t wait to book our next vacation with Drake & John!

This booking was flawless! This was our first time booking through Vrbo and we were nervous but Drake and John instantly put us at ease. They responded promptly to our questions and their communication was impeccable. The reservation process was easy and very thorough. Drake answered all of our questions promptly and we received loads of useful information without even having to inquire, including information about airport transfer, excursion information and dinner reservation information. We were provided with contact information for John & Drake as well as their onsite Sellers Club Representatives in advance of our trip which was reassuring. Everything was as described, airport pick up was seamless, we got outside and there was a gentleman holding a clipboard and called out “lifestyles?” We headed his way and he had a clipboard and also a sign with our name. We shared a ride with a few other couples and headed to the resort. Checkin was easy, we arrived to the hotel and went to VIP checkin where we paid the all inclusive fee and got our GM gold bracelets (awesome!). We arrived at noon but checkin was technically 3pm. We left our bags at the bellhop and had lunch and wandered the resort to get the lay of land for a bit. Went back at 3pm and the room was ready. We had requested a first level poolside room if possible and were told this could not be guaranteed based on availability as with any hotel booking. We did get a first level room but unfortunately it wasn’t facing the pool and was on the backside of the building. The room was also located near where the septic tanks pump and had an awful smell the day we checked in. We contacted our Sellers Club Representatives and asked if would be possible to move and they looked into availability but the resort was booked solid so we weren’t able to move that day. Jeffry called us on our second day and said that he had a new room for us so he met us and showed us the room and it was perfect- first level and poolside - we were very happy! Everyone on the staff is super friendly and helpful - lots of fun nightly entertainment. We had a reservation for dinner at the Brazilian BBQ Restaurant Rodizio so good and great ambiance. All the other days we hit the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner - always a great variety and plenty of food! Overall we give 5 stars and can’t wait to book through John & Drake again - here or any of their other properties! This place is one of our favorites!

John and Drake are awesome. Answered all my questions right away. They sent me a bunch of useful info before we arrived, and I appreciated that. One small thing is on the booking document, it says you can pick up your golf cart the day after you arrive. When we inquired, the VIP office said we could not get one, that it was only for members. It was disappointing. Maybe take that off from the document to avoid disappointment from guests. VRBO: downside was that VRBO took a deposit on my credit card for full amount even after the room was paid for. I didn’t quite understand why. Transportation from the airport: driver had a sign with my name on it. It was easy to find. 30 min ride. Return trip pick-up at 10am for a 1:25pm flight. Check in: VIP check-in office where you get your own private check in was a nice touch. Room: Exactly like in the picture and was even bigger than expected. King bed was big and comfortable, I had a chance to see other rooms and ours was way better. Fan celling and a/c made it comfortable to sleep. The resort was beautiful and in good shape. Be aware that there is some random cats and dogs running around on the resort. I like animals so it wasn’t a problem for me. Food: I have to say both my friend and I got the runs at different times. The buffets were ok and had a lot of variety. I liked the Casablanca. A la carte restaurants were great. The drink selection was super. They had premium liquors like Jim Beam and Grey Goose at the VIP beaches. You can absolutely order any drink. The wine was undrinkable. For good cappuccinos the morning: NV beach past 10 am. 2-3 hour tour and sales pitch on the second day. Your rep will wear a hat, that’s how you recognize them. I asked how long it would be and explained that I didn’t want to waste their time or ours and left. They should take the clients on the tour a few days after their arrival. Let us soak up a little bit of sun and enjoy the resort. Spa: If you do get your nails done, ask for Rose, she is the best. If you book a treatment at the spa, you can use their facilities the whole duration of your trip. They have fresh press juices. My overall note is 5 stars, comparing to other places I have been. I always travel to 4- or 5-stars resort. Been in Cuba 3 times, 4 times in the Dominican and 1 time in the Bahamas at Atlantis. This resort was the best one so far. I would certainly go back again.

Stayed February 6 for 11 days. Room was exactly as described. Stayed in building 41 facing the ocean. Received gold Gm bracelets. Food,drinks,and service were top notch. Booking was very professional with all questions and concerns promptly answered and resolved. I would not hesitate to do this again if I wanted to visit same destination.
