Thanks for staying at my cabin. I live in a cabin in the same development. I love that I can be on top of amazing mountains within a few minute from the neighborhood.

Thank you for your review. Come stay with us again when you get a chance.
No bathroom on the lower level so access is either through the master suite up one flight or two floors up. Other than the layout the house was very nice.

I have added another bathroom just inside the entrance..
This will solve any future bathroom concerns. The home now has three bedrooms and three bathrooms .
Overall, the cabin worked well for our group. Having bedrooms on three different levels gave each family unit some space and privacy, but we did have to stay very alert with two staircases and a toddler in the house. The main floor was pretty tight; there was no sitting area there. The sitting area on the top floor was comfy, but everybody wanted to be near the kitchen. Still, we very much enjoyed our stay.
We loved our stay. Easy access to trails, but not far from town. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and layout of the cabin. We are very pleased and will be back!

Glad to hear you had a great stay. We would love to have you back!
We had a great stay. Great vies, location, the place was clean and the kitchen was supplied well enough that we cooked most of our meals there. Only about 20 minutes to the west entrance to the park which we visited every day and also glassed the mountains around the property. Spotting a large brown bear but could not confirm if it was a grizzly or not. The only thing that wasn't great was there were six of us so sitting on the porch or relaxing together was difficult due to the lack of porch seating. Also if you slept down stairs access to a bathroom at night is difficult. Over all very nice. We never got to use the hot tub or fire pit, but nice that we had the option.

I'm glad you enjoyed the cabin and the area! We have added a bathroom since your stay to make it easier for the downstairs guests. I hope you can stay again soon!
Our family enjoyed this cabin close to yellowstone west entrance. The cabin had lots of beds for a large group. It was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay and the hot tub was well deserved after a day of hiking. Instructions were clear and communication was great.

So glad you enjoyed the cabin. My family stayed there the entire year after we build it. we enjoyed it also.
Cabin was clean and had more space than needed for our family of 5. It was a short drive to West Yellowstone. Howard Spring is just east of the Cabin on HWY 20 and people were stopping to get water. We tried the mountain spring water and it tasted great.

Our family lives in Island Park year round and we love it. The area offers so many activities and sights. We spend as much time as we can hiking, biking, and canoeing to amazing fishing locations and sights few people will ever see. In Yellowstone National Park, I was fishing in the Maddison River (standing right in the middle) when 35- 40 Buffalo appeared on the edge of the river and started crossing down stream from me. Admittedly, I was a bit nervous, but my family was on shore letting me know the direction the Buffalo were going so I could move to a safe location. In Yellowstone we have seen Grizzly, Majestic Bull Elk, Wolf, Fox, Moose, and caught a huge Cutthroat Trout (photo included) on Yellowstone Lake near Grant's village. We also snowmobile and motorcycle, which allows us to see even more of the wonderful area. It is surprising the amount of wildlife in the area during all seasons of the year. Last year my son and I were snowmobiling across mountain peaks overlooking Henry's lake when a moose and her calf crossed the same peak. We stopped our machines to watch and give these animals some space. We were amazed at the ease these magnificent animals moved through four feet deep snow. We had this same experience with a herd of Elk. Last week I came across a weasel in its beautiful white winter coat, with just a little black tipped tail, which helped me keep track of it. The weasel seemed to be asking me to pause from the days activities and just watch it play in the snow, which I did. Two years ago while fishing in a canoe at dusk, my family, watched as some swans landed close to us. The orange and red setting sun made there wings and the water glow as they circled and landed, it was the kind of sight that stirs the emotions and reminds us there is a Supreme Creator that has a love for beauty. Let us help you capture the beauty of this amazing place while you vacation here. Tryge and Tammy Simpson
