Bears Den Cabin - Island Park, Idaho & Yellowstone Vacation

Bear's Den Cabin is your mountain vacation destination. Located in Island Park, Idaho just 35 miles to Yellowstone National Park. Sitting up on a hill with quiet surroundings and an open view of the Centennial and Teton Mountain ranges. Take in an evening drive on miles of back roads to see some of the wildlife in the area as well as the breathtaking scenery.

Bears Den Cabin has 3 bedrooms. Each room is cutely decorated with wildlife themes. The master bedroom, which is the flyfishing room has a full bath adjoining. Upstairs are the moose room, and the bear room, both have double beds. The bath is a 1.5 bath which includes a shower. The loft has a TV/DVD with a futon that opens up to make a double bed as well. All bed and bath linens are supplied as well as extra pillows and blankets.

If you wish to cook while your on vacation the kitchen is equipped with all the basic cooking utensils, pots and pans a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, slow cooker, and blender. After you're done, the dishwasher will help ease the cleanup.

The cabin is open year round to enjoy the benefits of all seasons. There are so many things to do and see within the area. Yellowstone National Park, Harriman State Park, and Mesa falls are just a few of the must sees, all less than an hour away. For those that like to fish, there are many lakes, rivers and streams to enjoy. If your into hiking, there are plenty of trails available in the surrounding areas.

When winter arrives it becomes a winter wonderland, the entire area is blanketed with up to 5 feet of snow. This brings other types of activities like snowmobiling, sledding, skiing, cross country skiing. Big Sky and Grand Targhee ski resorts are approximately 2 hours away. Connect to groomed snowmobile trails right from the cabin.

Beautiful property and surroundings

We loved our stay and the cabin, it was lovely and beautiful surroundings. Close enough to Yellowstone but far enough to be away from crowds.

Family Vacation

The cabin had plenty of room for my family of 6. About 30 minutes to Yellowstone. We also found a ranch 1.5 miles away for horseback riding. At the end of the day the pool table was a fun place to unwind before bed. Great place!

Both the property and the host were wonderful. Alan checked in via text multiple times to make sure everything was going well. The cabin is adorable with the themed rooms and overall wilderness vibes. It is also ideally situated to Yellowstone being less than a half hour drive away from the West gate. We really enjoyed sitting out on the wrap around porch to watch the stars and wildlife. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone!

We built our cabin in Island Park because we love the area and the outdoors. Island Park has all the recreational activities that folks leave the cities for. It is a wonderful vacation area close to one of the nations best national parks (Yellowstone). My wife and I love having family and friends enjoy the sights and activities with us.

What makes this property unique

Our cabin is located in a quiet area with 360 degree views of the surrounding mountain ranges. We enjoy ATV riding, fishing, snowmobiling, and just relaxing. Our trips never seem to last near ong enough.
