For cycling, the loop around Usk Reservoir is perfect and offers 7 miles of quiet tarmac with mountain backdrops. Within 20 miles, you've also got Carreg Cennen Castle, which is known for its romantic setting and dominates the skyline for miles. By night, your quaint holiday home is a special spot that sits right in the Brecon Beacons Dark Sky Reserve. Once the sun drops, you'll get incredible stargazing, with the Milky Way stretching over the Black Mountain range. Perfect for those glasses of bubbles in the garden.


This charming shepherd's hut is tucked away from the rest of the world and boasts gorgeous rolling fields, which are to be admired as you make your way up the front door. Leave your boots on the decking, and as you enter inside, you'll discover cleverly designed interiors, with a full kitchen to the right and a deep, pillowy bed to the back.
