Offering superb accommodation for up to eight guests, this fabulous property makes a wonderful getaway for larger families and groups of friends enjoying a reunion or a well-earned break. Perfect for exploring the majestic coastline of the north-western corner of Norfolk, Snettisham is known for its expansive west-facing beach, quality eateries and the popular Snettisham Park. Overlooking the Wash, RSPB Snettisham offers opportunities to spot an array of wading birds, including oystercatchers, knots and dunlins. Immediately to the north are the popular coastal villages of Heacham (3 miles) and Hunstanton (5 miles), each with a choice of great places to eat and drink, and access to more glorious sandy beaches. Other local attractions and landmarks include the Bircham Windmill, Houghton Hall and Gardens, Norfolk Lavander, Anmer Hall and the royal estate at Sandringham, all within 9 miles.
Entering this spacious and welcoming property the entrance hall has plenty of space for leaving coats and shoes. Short steps leads up and through a beautiful bespoke arched doorway which welcomes you through a hallway and into the warm and inviting open-plan kitchen/diner. The kitchen has ample equipment, a Smart TV and an elegant central island with bar stools. Over to one side, there’s a handsome dining table in the corner, perfect for family feasts. French doors open out to the rear courtyard area. To the left of the kitchen, you will find the first of the property’s two luxurious lounges, with a Smart TV and sumptuous seating. The other lounge is on the other side of the kitchen, featuring plush seating and a Smart TV as well as a roaring wood burner. The ground floor also features a utility room, a shower room and the first of the property’s four spacious bedrooms: a lovely room with a super king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made into twin beds on request) and French doors leading out to the patio. This bedroom has a well-appointed en-suite shower room with a shower and WC. Going upstairs, you will find the three remaining bedrooms. The first is a beautiful super-king-size room with a good-sized en-suite bathroom which has a bath, a separate walk-in shower and a WC. There is a twin zip and link bedroom (can be made into a super-king sized bed on request) and a twin room with 2 large 4ft (wide) single beds which share a pretty Jack and Jill-style shower room with a shower and WC.
Heading outside, the property has a quiet back courtyard and a private front garden with a spacious terrace and gas BBQ, perfect for dining alfresco together after a fantastic day out. There’s also a private seven-seater hot tub to luxuriate in as younger guests play on the lawn. An EV charger and private parking are available for four cars.
