This practical apartment has a warm and contemporary feel, with colourful furnishings dotted about a welcoming interior where everything is close at hand. The corner sofa in the lounge has room for everyone and, like the kitchen opposite, has views of the courtyard beyond. After a day out exploring, guests can unwind by playing games, reading books, or watching their favourite programs on the smart TV. There are courtyard views from the apartment’s two bedrooms, too: a double bedroom with skylights and a single bedroom, with both offering plenty of storage space for outdoor kit. The narrow courtyard garden is the perfect place for an alfresco breakfast, quality time with a good book, or a fish supper after a long day at the beach. The outdoor hose is ideal for a quick rinse after a walk with your dog or a day at the beach.


Such is the beauty of Barmouth’s village, quayside, beach and views from its surrounding hills and mountains, guests can be excused for not venturing more than 1 mile from the apartment during their stay. Here’s why. The village’s streets are full of independent shops, dog-friendly cafes and pubs, while its west-facing sand and shingle beach is a magnet for watersports lovers. The harbour is a great place for a wander, while the views from Dinas Oleu, a hill overlooking the village, estuary and Cardigan Bay, are something else. The Wales Coast Path takes guests across the other side of the Mawddach Estuary, where bustling towns, villages and mile after mile of sandy beaches await.
