Welcome to our little part of the world. In a well hidden and protected spot in the center of South Carolina Coastal Low Country, rests Edisto Island. Edisto is rich in history, wildlife, and natural beauty while maintaining a strong position to resist change that is not beneficial to our community. The absence of noise, traffic lights, congestion, and commercialism appeals to residents and visitors alike. A visit to Edisto is certain to win your approval provided you enjoy a laid back and relaxed lifestyle.

A trip from Edisto Beach to downtown Charleston will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

When you stay at The Plantation Villas, the beautiful Golf Course, Pro Shop, Putting Green and 1st Tee are all in your view.

A round of golf on the beautiful Plantation Course and a visit to The Plantation Pro Shop is a must for every guest. For shopping, or just browsing, you’ll have fun and enjoy a nice selection of Ladies and Men’s apparel, gifts and accessories.

The Plantation Course was originally opened in 1974 with Sam Snead hitting the first shot on the course which was then named Oristo. A complete renovation was finished in 2006 giving the course a new look and a commitment for year round conditioning.

Nestled among giant live oaks, magnolias and towering palms, it’s sure to challenge golf enthusiast from all skill levels. Accuracy plays a greater premium than distance on the Par 70... 6,130 yard layout. You must try not to be distracted by the abundant wildlife that adds beauty to the course. If you enjoy Edisto and the South Carolina Low Country, you are certain to agree that The Plantation Course provides a golfing experience as it was meant to be.

Villa Features: Beautiful views of the Golf Course. Villa #24 has 4 Bedrooms, each with 2 Beds / Private Bath for each Bedroom / TV in each Bedroom / Large Dining Room (Table for 8) / Living Area, Chairs, Large TV / 2 Porches / Beautiful Furnishings. All Linens and Clean-Up Fee Included.

*** NOTE: During our prime months (May 21 through August 12) we are accepting ‘Weekly’ rental request (Only) from Sunday/Sunday. ***

Additional Information:

A Wyndham ‘Amenities Pass’ is available for purchase that will entitle you and your family to enjoy unlimited use of the resort 3 outdoor swimming pools. An outdoor hot tub / bike rentals / a fitness center / children’s playground / a miniature Putt-Putt golf course and tennis courts are also available under the ‘Pass’. The cost of the ‘Pass’ varies from year to year and is not part of your Villa Rental Fee with us. For more information please call Wyndham’s Recreation Center.

Family time in Edisto

our family of six enjoyed a relaxing stay here. Plenty of room. We rented bikes and enjoyed the area and especially the beach.

Fantastic Villa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Plantation Villa number 24! The home was perfect size, open floor plan, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, and a very convenient location! We will definitely be looking to rent this home again in the future!

WOW! Amazing!

I almost don't want to post how incredible this was because I want to keep it for myself....but from day one it was incredible! The condo was clean and spacious, we had everything we needed. Finding our carts outside our door every morning was amazing. Pro shop staff went above and beyond. I was so sad to leave and can't wait to go back!!!

Golf villa with a view of first tee

The home was spacious and clean. Host was helpful when I had questions, and he made sure we received a discount for golf rounds. Location is very quiet, easy to access golf, tennis, the pool (for separate amenity fee), great for biking, and there's a very nice restaurant "next door". We did not need twin beds (prefer queens), but they were fine. Having 5 full baths, a large kitchen and huge dining table were all a "big plus". We usually don't rebook the same unit, but my family asked to return here, so we will be back next summer.

So much space for the price!!

We stayed there from July 19-26th, 2020. Though it was a hotter part of the season, we still had a great time. The island is perfect if you are just looking to get away and sit by the beach without a lot of hubbub going on. There are still plenty of activities like kayaking, paddle boarding fishing, swimming and golfing. But if you just want to relax, it’s very easy to do. The villas were so perfect for our family. We had 10 people, so we rented out both villas and had room to spare. We had a couple of people that ended up not coming due to contracting COVID, so we asked them not to come for obvious reasons. But every one had their own bed, so it was great! They were clean, and had all the kitchen utensils that we needed. Also, having washer and dryer is a big help. Duane was great. Our ice maker went out and he had someone there the next day to fix it. And in the mean time, he was bringing us bags of ice. I would recommend staying there to any one. My only wish is that it was a little closer to the beach. But but that wasn’t a big deal. A quick car ride and you’re there.

Wonderful Villa!

Very spacious villa with great floor plan. We loved staying here. It was nice that each bedroom had own private bath and included full bath downstairs too. Outdoor shower and large dining table was helpful.

Awesome Villa!!!

This Villa is amazing and so is the owner! We changed our arrival date at the last minute and lost one of our keys, and the owner was very helpful and understanding!! The view of the golf course and deer from the back deck was amazing! The Villa was very clean and was fully stocked with paper products, linens, towels, etc. I would give this Villa and the owner 10 stars if I could and would highly recommend it for a great family vacation!!!

The beach is a short drive away and although our stay was during peak season we had no problem with parking. We purchased amenity passes (by day) from Wyndham so the children could enjoy the pool, miniature golf, and playground. Loved that every bedroom has a private bath. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to this property on future trips to Edisto.
