Communication with our host was always prompt and easy..Pierre really made sure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The house was exactly as described and perfect for our stay. The garden area was lovely and full of bird songs. It was really quite wonderful to sit out. The pool slay just as described and very enjoyable in the warm weather.. The location is good for proximity to Bordeaux, St. Emilion, Medoc and other areas of interest in the region (you need a car, but it's well worth it!). This was a lovely stay and I would highly recommend this place.

The property was clean and very well equipped with good sized rooms. In what we Brits regard as a typically quirky French room layout, access to bedroom 2 is via the bathroom, which also acts as the connecting corridor. The pool is unusually large. For most adults, it's possible to stand and touch its base at any point, if only on tiptoe. The pool is protected by a fence and hedge, meaning it doesn't require a cover (French child safety law). Its temperature, during a heatwave, varied between 23 and 26 degrees.A car is essential to enjoy this rural location. There are no immediately local shops or restaurants. However, there are supermarkets within a 15 minute drive. Pierre, our host, was very congenial and helpful.

Charming country abode to the north of Bordeaux surrounded by fields and horse farms. Private half of stone lodge with separate living room, two bedrooms and fully-equipped kitchen. Third upstairs bedroom for additional guests. Bathroom with shower. Lovely shared pool with privacy hedge. Onsite parking inside property wall main gate. Good internet. Easy communication with wonderful and friendly hosts. All in all, a relaxing and peaceful alternative to the buzz and bustle of Bordeaux.

Gîte un peu atypique mais très agréable, propre et bien équipé, très bien situé pour visiter les merveilles de la Gironde et au delà à une centaine de kilomètres alentour.Pierre, le propriétaire est charmant, très disponible et prend soin de savoir si tout va bien.Séjour parfait !

Bon séjour dans la location de Pierre et Karine des propriétaires agréables et de bon conseils si besoin.Bonne situation si on désire découvrir le sud de la Vendée, le Périgord ,Bordeaux et la Gironde.Location au calme, commerces à une dizaines de minutes Super U/ Norauto / boulangerie / Pharmacie....Idéal pour un couple avec 2 enfants.

Très agréable séjour. Les gérants étaient là quand il le fallait et très discret. Le reste du temps. Ce qui est dommage c’est de ne pas profiter de la piscine au-delà de 18h30 à cause de personnes qui ont abusé. mais merci aux gérants qui ont été formidables.

Location agréable et très propre. Nous y avons trouvé tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour ce court séjour. Les propriétaires étaient très réactifs à nos demandes.

Séjour très agréable

Charmante maison, charmants hôtes, la location se trouve dans un magnifique environnement. Il est possible de faire de très jolies promenades malgré une météo très humide, et de visiter de très nombreux châteaux viticoles! Séjour très réussi!

esperienza deludente

una delle due camere da letto si raggiunge unicamente attraversando il bagno, l'unica sedia a sdraio era rotta, uso piscina con orari, poca comunicazione con i proprietari in merito ai rifiuti e alle pulizie finali. Ci è stata applicata trattenuta per il lavaggio lenzuola.

Chère Maria, La description du logement ainsi que les horaires de piscine ainsi que le ménage à faire ou à payer sont bien expliqués dans l’annonce. Effectivement la communication n’est pas facile quand les personnes ne savent parler ni français ni anglais …. Par contre le respect me semble universel. Il est dommage d’avoir laissé les lieux très sales et les draps souillés d’une substance étrange. Vous pourrez utiliser l’application « reverso » pour votre prochaine location pour mieux comprendre ce que vous louez et quelles sont les règles à respecter.
