Milly Cottage was perfect
We really enjoyed our stay at Milly Cottage. It was perfect for our family. A newly decorated property, with a very well stocked kitchen and loads of cupboard space throughout the house. A very comfortable and well laid out living space. Milly Cottage is located on the most impressive of the lakes at the Lower Mill Estate. We loved waking up in the morning with the view of the lake. Our grandchildren also enjoyed making friends with the ducks.
We had a nice meal at the Balihoo restaurant and would definitely recommend the Bakers Arms which is only a short walk away. Cirencester is nearby with a good choice of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed brunch at Roots & Seeds.
We would definitely recommend Milly Cottage and the Lower Mill Estate. We enjoyed our walk around the lakes and our swims in the indoor pool. Unfortunately, it wasn't warm enough for us to brave the outdoor pool!

A wonderful trip
We had such a lovely stay at Mill Village 71/72, Milly Cottage with Orion Holidays. This was our 5th visit to Lower Mill Estate, but our first time staying in Milly Cottage — and it definitely did not disappoint!
We stayed as a group of 3 families with children aged 6–9, and the layout of the cottage was absolutely perfect for a larger group. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and socialise together, while still feeling comfortable and homely. The cottage was beautifully presented, cosy, spotless, and really well equipped — it instantly felt like a home away from home.
The kids absolutely loved the outdoor heated pool, and one of the highlights of the trip was taking the Katakanu out on the lakes together. Sitting by the water, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and wildlife, really felt like absolute heaven.
Everything was very well organised from booking through to arrival, and the communication from Orion Holidays was excellent throughout, making the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable.
We made some wonderful family memories here and would happily recommend Milly Cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and special Cotswolds escape. We would love to return again in the future!

Lovely property book it if you can
We have stayed at various properties for the last few years at Lower Mill Estate and many years previously at Cotswold water park and this was by far our favourite of them alll. The house had everything you could possibly need, was very clean (very important) and in a lovely spot with a fabulous outside space- if only the weather had not let us down!
We would love to visit again but sadly next years prices for this property are too much for us for a long weekend away with friends.
However if your budget allows I would not hesitate to recommend that you book this property with Orion Holidays. They were so helpful and easy to deal with and the house is a delight.
