Located in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. Mt. Hood, Columbia River, Wine Country, numerous Lakes and parks at your doorstep. Central to windsurfing, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and wine tasting, this home is perfectly located for your next family vacation. 20 minutes to the nearest ski resort, and 10 minutes to downtown Hood River. Several restaurants within 5 miles, 15 minutes to nearest Lake for paddleboarding or fishing.

Recently updated and fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms and two large living spaces make this home extra comfortable. Upstairs two bedrooms with 3 twin beds, and TV with movies and games for the kids. Downstairs, master bedroom with extra comfortable queen sized bed and attached master bath with soaking jacuzzi tub. A second downstairs bedroom is available with a queen bed as well. Second bath with shower is located downstairs as well. A woodstove in the living room, and gas fireplace in the family room provide a cozy atmosphere and extra warmth in the winter months. Washer, dryer in the laundry room. Wrap around deck in the summer to sit outside and enjoy the summer months.

Great Getaway in the Hood River Area

This was a lovely stay with some girl friends for a Mama Getaway! You are truly in the middle of the country but close to Hood River fun. House was nice but quirky. We loved the porch and the views. The owner was great and easy to work with.

We enjoyed this comfortable home. The kitchen is great and we prepared an excellent dinner. For lunch we walked across the Highway for pizza. The beds were comfortable and the living room cozy. It is good house for a group of friends.

Amazing place, view, and location. Absolutely perfect for a wedding or any family event. Big kitchen and 3 overnight make perfect for hosting dinners. I would stay in the future, we absolutely loved it.

Beautiful place and we miss it, the house had everything we needed. The whole family enjoyed sitting out on the wrap around porch. The kitchen is beautiful, we enjoyed many good meals around the nice dinning table. Loved the upstairs and the 70s carpet. The whole house had this wonderful retro cabin like vibe with some modern touches. Just loved the energy in the house. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family. Hope to stay again next visit.

Two of our party had stated at this property previously and were surprised and delighted to see air conditioning added. This made our stay quite delightful. House is well-appointed with room for groups to gather. The travel from bedrooms to bathrooms is a bit awkward, but doable. As others have noted, the sawmill across the highway is noisy but indoors is fine.

Altho very close to venue..i didnt want to drive back and forth to the 3 day festivities. This house was next to my son..father of the bride..so very convenient . Twin beds are upstairs and not convient for small kids alone.very beautiful 😍 gorgeous house

Since we did not use the property other than sleeping, it was sufficient but costly. It is not maintained to Standards of a short term rental. Poor First impression of neighborhood then the entry porch into the home was subpar. An old home that is in slow transition to a three star presently. VRBO Pics were not representative of the home.

House is across the road from a saw mill so was noisy if out on the patio. House was gather dark with multiple lights not working or bulbs burnt out. Multiple levels with odd stair configuration and stairs not well lit. Several of our party of older ladies had a non-injury trip on the stairs. Several cooking pans in disrepair. Kitchen remodel was lovely. Nice gathering areas. Close to fruit loop stops. Noisy furnace.

Peaceful getaway!

The home was roomy with a fantastic kitchen. Well supplied with linens, towels, and paper goods. Host answered any questions in a timely manner. Only drawback were steep stairs to upper rooms and two steps to each area of the house.

Very nice rental

This was a great VRBO rental for me and my friends who were staying in hood river for some salmon fishing on the Columbia river. Convenient location and very large accommodations make this rental a great place to rest your head and entertain friends and family.

This home is perfect for 2 families. Sleeps 9 comfortably, and is close to the town of Hood River. Very close proximity to lakes and rivers for summer fun, and Mt. Hood for winter time skiing adventures.
