Sand Dollar Estate in St. Thomas is set above 2 secluded white sand beaches on the shores of beautiful Magens Bay, covers approximately 2 and a half acres of beachfront property. Fully air-conditioned with contemporary island decor, Sand Dollar Estate has always delighted its guests, from celebrities to U.S. Presidents. Very secluded and luxurious, Sand Dollar is a luxury vacation of a lifetime.

The upper entry-level opens to 2 spacious king bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, indoor and outdoor shower, and an alcove with sofa bed perfect for small children.

A few steps below is the main level with a large open well-equipped kitchen exclusively for the guest, a chef/catering kitchen for our in-house private chefs, a separate full kitchen for guests, formal dining room, a sumptuous living room, a half bath, and a third king bedroom with a private bath.

The main level opens to a short flight of stairs down to the pool level with three air-conditioned bedroom suites, each with a king-size bed, full bath, sitting area with a sofa bed. They are connected by a large game room with a ping pong table, cable TV, and minibar, overlooking the pool.

Right off the pool deck are a separate recreation building with a professional gym, spa massage room, and rooftop covered deck.

The pool area features a 5,000 sq ft sun deck, tiled pool, gazebo, and an alfresco dining area with a grill and sink. Off the pool area are stairs down to the magnificent, secluded white sand beach, the crown jewel of Sand Dollar. Swim, snorkel, sunbathe, and relax in privacy and solitude. Guaranteed to be the nicest beach you have ever set foot on!

Just next door is Little Sand Dollar, renovated in 2024, a 2300 square feet stone cottage, three-bedroom suites (each with king-size bed, sleeper sofas, full bath, wet bar, custom closets, etc), the stairway down to another secluded white sand beach, fully air-conditioned with a well-equipped kitchen, jacuzzi, a covered porch, and an open deck overlooking Magens Bay with dining and living area. Perfect for newlyweds, teenagers or a small family.

Between Sand Dollar's main villa and Little Sand Dollar are the 2 newly constructed fully air-conditioned bungalows, both with balconettes overlooking Magens Bay, high-speed wireless internet, smart TV with premium cable channels, and in-room safes. Bungalow One is a one-room suite with a King size bed, full bath, sitting area with sleeper sofa. Bungalow Two features a bedroom with a king-size bed, a full bath, a separate living room with a dining area for 6, a sleeper sofa, a half bath, and a kitchenette/wet bar. The two bungalows can be connected into 2 bedrooms, 2 and a half baths unit. Ideal for 2 couples or a small family.

Besides the magnificent private beach and the luxury accommodation, Sand Dollar Estate is known for its Impeccable services. Professionally trained housekeeping staff, a full-time property manager, a private chef, a massage therapist, etc. Our attentive staff is on call 24/7.

A private boat charter will pick you your group at the beach. Jetski/water toys can be delivered with advance notice.

Our fully equipped gym features a full complement of Precor professional equipment including:

- Precord treadmill with heart rate monitor
- Precord recumbent bicycle with heart rate monitor
- Precor elliptical trainer
- Precor weight trainer

There is also an audio/video system with cable TV and a Sony 32' LCD TV. High-Speed WIFI throughout the property. This fully air-conditioned state of the art facility offers incredible down island views, as well as magnificent views of Magens Bay and our private beaches below. Enjoy the lovely deck outside before, during, or after your workout. Trainers and Yoga Instructors are available with advance notice.

Our fully conditioned, Spa massage room features a hydrotherapy tub, rain shower, make-up station, massage table, manicure/pedicure area, cable TV, and a Sony 32' LCD TV. Ideal for Lady Spa Day or couple massage. Exclusively for our guests.

Right above is our rooftop covered deck. Furnished with oversized sectional sofa and hammock, perfect for stars gazing at night or lounging during the day.

Booking this property was a breeze. It was absolutely perfect for our group of 11 couples. Communication with the host, Suzanne, and with the house manager, Mike, was easy and very informative for all of our needs. The property was absolutely beautiful- from the lodging, to the landscape, to the pool and the incredible beach. Mike and his crew made the place look amazing every day! We used Chef Wayne for our stay and could not have been more pleased with his service. The food was delicious every day and the service of the dinner helpers was wonderful. We would not change a thing about our stay. BEST vacation ever!

Best house on island

Great stay! The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Loved the quiet location and relaxing outdoor space. The host was friendly and responsive. Staff was fantastic, would highly recommend chef Wayne. Would definitely stay again!

Great house, even better staff!!

Sand Dollar is a really nice setup. I think most anyone will be happy if they choose to visit. Chef Wayne was also great. Good food and he makes it all seamless. Won’t be surprised if we end up visiting again.

Absolutely the most amazing vacation!

We would do it all over again! The staff was amazing as was Chef Wayne! The property is beautiful with a nice big pool and sun deck. Just steps away from a magical beach with all sorts of things to do (paddle board, kayak, snorkel ect). We loved the catamaran and deep sea fishing where we left directly from the beach at the house! Everyone all ages had the best week!!!

Absolutely Amazing!

This property is truly paradise! Everyone who went with us agreed we are unlikely to ever find anywhere better than this. The private beach was amazing, we only left one day to visit some other islands but you won't want to leave. Chef Wayne was awesome, we enjoyed every meal and the house staff were also very attentive to all our needs. The views day and night are incredible, we literally never turned a TV on for the entire 7 days. Hopefully we will get to return to paradise some day!

Amazing family getaway

Everything about our stay was incredible. The views and beach were incredible, the property manager Mike was so friendly and helpful, Chef Wayne cooked delicious meals and was so easy to work with, and the house itself offered everything we could've asked for. We had a family of 12 stay, and there was plenty of room to stretch out and relax. We all came back rested and rejuvenated. Having paddle boards, kayaks, life vests, and snorkeling gear there on the beach was perfect. The owner Suzanne was very responsive. We also had massages on site, which was such a treat. Absolutely loved our time at Sand Dollar.

Breathtaking Location

Sand dollar estate is one of a kind, the property is very private with amazing views in each room and the best part is the private beach. My wife and I have stayed at almost every resort, hotel a in USVI and Sand Dollar is by far the best of the best Suzanne is an AMAZING host and is very accommodating. My wife and I had our wedding here and everyone of our guest loved the estate with most of them asking what other events can we host at the estate so that we can visit one again. The property staff members are very friendly and do everything to make you and guest feel like you are home. We love Sand Dollar and will definitely be coming back in the future.

Peer Group

We are a close knit group of contractors from all over the USA. This was the first time we gathered at a private house instead of a resort. We had the pvt chef and our stay was perfect! Mike, the GM went out of his way to make sure we had everything we could want. Earned a tip much larger than what was suggested... (too low). The space the property has allows for many small groups if we wanted to seperate, plenty of large group areas to all party together, and plenty of personal space if needed. Book it!!!!

Island Paradise

I was celebrating a landmark birthday with 8 other couples from all over the country and this beautiful estate did not disappoint. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and there were multiple locations on the property for us to come together to celebrate. The private beach has crystal clear water and all the water toys to keep us busy for days. The pictures we took are amazing. My morning routine was to use the gym and then jump in the bay and float for a while. There were always fish or birds to watch. It was so peaceful despite being a holiday week. We utilized the services of the private chef which made our time and meals magical. We planned two dinners out, which we all agreed would have just as well been better at the house. I think we all still miss Chef Wayne:) Additionally, they arranged our transportation to the airport and to the various excursions we planned. The beach front access made it easy for us to charter fishing boats which picked us up at the estate. The location was great and made our time even more special. We appreciate the highly communicative staff with a great attention to detail. We felt very taken care of. We look forward to finding our next excuse to visit.

Paradise

This property is so amazing everybody that works there is also amazing. I have tried to get my husband to go on an island vacation for years and never have been able to get him to go, after experiencing Sandollar he’s ready to go to again. All 19 people who went with us experienced a wonderful time in St. Thomas, but we all agreed just staying on the property was the best part of the vacation! We felt as though the beach was just for us. We snorkeled, paddle board, kayak, and had jet skis delivered all right there….SO MUCH FUN! The staff at Sand Dollar,I cannot say enough they are accommodating, welcoming, friendly, and made our vacation absolutely the best. The taxi service Sand Dollar recommends is way more than a taxi driver. Papito, our driver, would take us to our destination and every time would provide so much information about the island. By the end of the trip it felt as though he was part of our family. Chef Wayne and Dee prepared, cooked, and cleaned up after our group of 21 masterfully with amazing flavors and always with a smile. Paradise!

This property has it all. We wanted for nothing. This location was a dream come true for my daughter’s wedding. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. She was completely stunning with an almost surreal backdrop. A vacation/wedding of a lifetime!

Paradise on the water!

We had the most wonderful stay at Sand Dollar Estate! Suzanne, Mike, Papeto, Chef Wayne, and all of the amazing staff made our stay above and beyond our expectation! They referred us to great companies for a fishing charter, catamaran, and massages. The grounds were well maintained and the house was spotless. It was truly the trip of a lifetime. We highly recommend this for a 10/10 luxury visit to St. Thomas!

Tranquil Paradise Found!!

This Estate fully lived up to its online photos ... extremely well maintained, clean, and was the perfect layout for 9 couples! There's plenty of space to spread out and have some solitude either at the pool, in any of 3 hammocks overlooking gorgeous Magen's Bay; or on the beautiful beach lounging in a chair, kayaking, or paddle boarding. Also plenty of space for all 18 of us to gather for cocktails on the patios and dine together. All of the views from any room are absolutely breathtaking! Both Property Manager and Owner were easily accessible and very accommodating. Our whole party agreed we would not hesitate to return! 5 stars all around!

Best family get away🥰

The sandollar estate was amazing! I’d give it 10 stars if that was an option . Had my whole family together for a week. The staff was wonderful and the property just amazing. My family is already talking about going back next year.

Vacation in Paradise

This property is a vacation in paradise. We just returned from a week stay. We had 9 couples stay at the Sand Dollar Estate and from beginning to the end everything was wonderful. Starting with booking the Sand Dollar Suzanne replies so quickly and is extremely helpful! Mike and his staff took care of everything from picking up our luggage at the airport, taking us to pick out wine when we arrived, going to pick up things daily at the grocery store, to making sure the place was clean and making sure we were happy. We also hired Chef Wayne to cook for us everyday and his cooking was amazing! Chef Wayne is so kind and aims to please! Thank goodness for the steps to the beach so we could work off the delicious meals! The beach was beautiful, and entertaining, we could kayak, swim, paddle board, watch the pelicans, sea turtles, dolphins, and sting rays. The sunsets stole my heart every night. Some of the group booked massages with Gloriana which were amazing. This place is great for friends and family to have a special gathering or just to have a relaxing and enjoying time. We enjoyed ourselves so much that I'm definite we will be back! Thank you for all you did Suzanne, Mike and Chef Wayne!

Beyond Expectations

Our party of 12 rented Sand Dollar Estate for our annual friends getaway. We originally planned for a long weekend, but we ended up staying for the entire week. This place has totally exceeded our expectations. Suzanne, the owner, is quick to respond. She provided many useful suggestions, especially since we had only planned to stay for a few days. We loved the boat trip to the BVI, no hassles, picked up and dropped off right in front of the house. The guys went out again for fishing. Chef Wayne made the most delicious dishes with the catch. We barely left the property, except to head down for shopping and tour the island a couple of afternoons. Mike was always helpful and pleasant. We shipped our luggage to him and he put everything in our rooms when we arrived. The refrigerator was stocked with everything we requested. Everyday he stopped by in the morning to check if we needed anything. He was always available by phone or text during the day. From renting a dingy and delivering it to Sand Dollar, to booking a boat trip to the BVI, Mike always served us with a big smile. Chef Wayne is a character. Not only was the food unbelievable, but he even made boxed lunches for our excursions. The property is so well kept and clean. The housekeeper came every morning to change the linens and bring us fresh towels. Mike cleaned the exterior before we woke up. The beach is the best part. We spent most of the time lounging on the beach or swimming in the turquoise water. There are kayaks, paddle boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, fishing rods, and almost everything one can imagine. Overall, our group agreed that this was one of our best annual trips ever and we all decided we should bring our children next time.

Amazing wedding week! Absolute Paradise!

My husband and I as well as 20 family members and friends stayed at the Sand Dollar Estate and little Sand Dollar for our wedding week. From the moment I started talking to Suzanne, she was so kind, informative and easy to communicate with. I can not even put into words how beautiful this property is. The grounds at Sand Dollar are immaculate and the staff is amazing. Mike was so attentive and kind during our stay from the moment we arrived. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. There was staff there every morning cleaning, changing sheets and replacing towels. Everyone was so friendly! My family and I enjoyed the private beach, pool, kayaking and paddle boarding provided by the property. Magen’s bay is the most beautiful place in the USVI! Staying at Sand Dollar was an absolute dream and a vacation that none of us will ever forget! Thank you so much Suzanne and Steve! We hope to stay there again in the future!

Incredible Estate, Location and Staff!!!

We stayed at Sand Dollar and Little Sand Dollar last week and had our wedding onsite. There were 20 of us in the group. This was, by far, the best venue we could have chosen on the island. Everything from the booking process to the accommodations was second to none. The Owners were very responsive to all of our questions and made the booking process simple. For anyone looking to have their wedding onsite, it was incredible. The views from the property and overall cleanliness was perfection. We used Chef Wayne and Primrose for the week. They were the BEST. Our guests raved every day with what he and his team were able to create for us. Even some of the special requests, like preparing our local catch from deep sea fishing for dinner, was no problem at all. I recommend his services to anyone staying the week (it makes all meals hassle free). Well worth the very, very reasonable fee. We would have paid more for this service based on how worry-free it made the week. The Estate Manager, Mike, was so accommodating and helpful the entire week. We had him pre-stock snacks and drinks and he also picked up some extra items during the week for us. All of our purchases were in the kitchen and on ice in coolers when we arrived. The commercial ice maker on the main level deck was incredible and made it very easy to keep things cool without having to buy bags of ice. Additionally, Mike helped make all transportation arrangements, including the airport pickup and drop-off, which included lots of luggage for 20 passengers. We went to Red Hook for a day to yacht over to BVI and near the airport on a separate day for a helicopter tour; the transport service was always on time. The amenities were excellent and exactly what was in the description. We enjoyed using the paddle boards and kayaks just about every day. Swimming on the private beach was great because you never had to worry about traffic or a bunch of other people around like what a public beach can turn into. Some of us went deep sea fishing with a pickup at Sand Dollar. Overall, this property was meticulously maintained and the staff made everyone feel at home and comfortable. What we enjoyed most is they were not intrusive at all but when you needed them, they were quickly available to help. This truly was a trip of a lifetime and to share the experience with our family was incredible. We recommend Sand Dollar Estate to anybody looking for a piece of paradise in a private setting.

Amazing views...unparalleled...beautiful....

We have been fortunate enough to stay at Sand Dollar Estate multiple times over the past 12 years and each time the accommodations keep improving. The property itself amazing, very clean and very well-maintained, a gorgeous place, perfect for large gatherings of friends/customers and/or employees. The present staff is wonderful and is there for your every need. The masseuse was great; the chef even greater. A great time was had by all.
