Excellence in Shaftesbury

This was a lovely bolt hole in the country and an ideal location for visiting wonderful local landmarks. The cottage was well equipped and nicely presented with a welcoming box of biscuits on arrival. Very quiet with tranquil views. The owners were over the driveway and extremely friendly. Salisbury, Glastonbury, Sherborne and the like were within easy reach as was Poole on the coast. An ideal spot and perfect for that relaxing getaway.

location great, communication lacking

Great location and beautiful scenery. The only unfortunate thing was that I found it difficult to communicate with the property manager. She greeted us upon arrival, but getting into contact with her afterwards was difficult.
