Aloha! Welcome to our little piece of PARADISE! Our new custom built cabinets and island for food preparation were just competed July 2024.
If you love the feeling of being at home while you are on vacation, this is the place to be! Nothing better than staying in a location that is close to town, walkable to lots of restaurants, cocktails, and snorkel/swimming beaches. We welcome you to our "HOME AWAY FROM HOME". Our unit is on the 1st floor.
This unit is a vacation rental only. IT IS A NON-SMOKING property, INSIDE AND OUT.
Guests have full access to everything in the condo (with the exception, of anything stored and marked "Owners" ). The pool is at the oceanfront, and the BBQ Is located just above the pool area. You must buy your own charcoal. There is also a gated entry to the ocean for snorkeling.
Our condo has a Ring doorbell/camera at the front door for your security to make sure no one enters other than the renter. However, in the 25 years that we have owned our unit, we have never had a break-in to our unit. Feel safe!

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS

I always make contact with the guests before renting. Also, once they arrive, just to make sure everything is to their liking and there are no questions.

We co-own this condo with lifetime friends. We come from honest backgrounds. Professionally, the men were high school and college educators. I was an Investigator/ Peace Officer for the State of California and the other owner worked in the jewelry business and accounting. We respect and wish to have others respect our " HOME AWAY FROM HOME"!
Our lovely condo is well maintained for our guests. Please see our reviews! We have a partial ocean view from our lanai. We are just a 15-minute walk to the downtown area, with several restaurants, snorkeling beaches, and wonderful sunsets on the way for your evening walk.
Our fast secure WIFI, BEACH TOWELS, UMBRELLA, COOLER, and BEACH CHAIRS are there for your use. FREE parking is right behind the condo with only steps to our unit.
We also provide BATH SOAP, a HAIR DRYER, HAND MIRROR, IRONING BOARD and extras in the kitchen such as PAPER TOWELS and DISH SOAP. We do not provide coffee. We have a Keurig 1 pod coffee maker as well as a Mr. Coffee maker, in case you prefer to use ground coffee. Many guests leave behind, foil, saran wrap and sandwich bags. You may use them and we hope that you will be courteous and leave some behind for others to use as well.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Turn off all fans. The Lanai has 4 speeds. Make sure all stove burners are OFF
Place the beach chairs back into the closet, after you have cleaned off all sand.
Hang towels over the shower and towels racks.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The space was perfect for the two of us! A prime location in Kona. You are able to walk to the coffee shop next door and watch the sunrise or sunset from the cute front porch. Judy was great to work with and communicated everything we needed to know via email!

The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the location was excellent. The space was clean and comfortable, and the host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this Vrbo to others. Nice condo, quiet complex, a lot of kitchen supplies, keurig coffee machine, clean, spacious, cosy, good working airco to keep it fresh, nice terras, bedroom can be separated from living room. This condo is a very clean and comfortable place for a couple to stay! It is a convenient location to explore town or as a base to explore the wider island. A great location off Ali’i with a view of the ocean from the lanai that was perfect for breakfast and coffee. The kitchen has what you need with space to make meals. The beach chairs and umbrellas are handy and fit into a car trunk for easy transport to nearby beaches. Overall, an excellent spot for a couple of people. Judy is extremely responsive to inquiries and works to make the stay easier and more enjoyable.

Great studio-style apartment for my husband and I. Well stocked kitchen for cooking meals, clean accommodations, located about a mile from the popular (touristy) restaurants/area. We had visited the other islands for a few years and loved them all. Once we visited the Big Island, we loved the diversity of the island. The Big Island is true 'OLD HAWAII'.
