If you are looking for the perfect place to Relax and enjoy the Gulf Breeze, look no further. Playa Chaca in Progreso Beach is a beautiful Condominium complex with a gorgeous pool, landscape and a rooftop deck with grills, benches, chairs and tables to enjoy amazing views of the Gulf of Mexico, sunsets, and moonrise. The condominium is very quiet and relaxed, ideal to get away from the world, and I say a bit because 30 minutes is the city of Merida Yucatan with everything you need, and just 3 kilometers east of beach town of Progreso a very peculiar fisherman town where you can walk by the boulevard by the sea called the Malecon, visit the stores, restaurants, do some shopping, and enjoy local handcraft. The 2 bedroom/1 large bathroom apartment is fully equipped and comfortably furnished, with dining room, kitchen and all the appliances you may need for your convenience, including an induction cooktop stove and washer dryer in the unit. Just a few steps from the apartment complex is the beach where you can swim peacefully in the emerald sea of the Gulf of Mexico

Wonderful stay

The property was nice and the unit was very well maintained, clean, and pleasant. The owner was attentive and answered questions promptly. The check-in process at the condo was easy to navigate thanks to thorough instructions prior to arrival. I will definitely stay there again if I return to the area.

Great spot!

We stayed at this great 3 rd story walk up condo. There was everything we could possibly need during our month stay. The furnishings were modern, the kitchen was well stocked and with modern appliances, the beds were very comfortable, the linens were fresh and in excellent condition. The bathroom was equipped with very high end towels and facecloths. We especially appreciated the toiletries as we came with carry on luggage only. The pool area was a welcoming spot with lots of seating. A quick walk to the Gulf of Mexico for a swim, or to the local food stand. Restaurants and a street food vendor were just a block away. We were very happy at this location and have already booked again for 2025!

Progresso

Beautiful accommodations, however several personal robberies and breakins while we were there . They have increased security and the police are taking it very serious however it is not comfortable. Also wild dog packs and dogs are a huge problem . They are everywhere ! The restaurants are amazing and people are friendly. But too many negatives for us to return.

La verdad todo excelente, hubo un detalle por ahi pero la verdad le dieron solucion al momento , todo muy bien en general todo estuvo excelente. It was an amazing holiday in an amazing quaint Mexico fishing village Our host always respond to our questions in a timely manner and was very quick to respond if there was a problem.My husband and I really enjoyed the condo complex. It is safe and everyone there is so friendly.. The staff are there to make your holiday the best it can be..I would recommend this place to everyone

We enjoyed our stay at Playa Chaca. The location of the condo in the complex was perfect. We were able to enjoy breakfast on the balcony each morning and had a wonderful view. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Very convenient for hopping on and off the bus and a short bike ride into town. The condo manager David was great and always so helpful. There was quite a few ex-pats staying there so we were able to meet quite a few folks to exchange stories with. Our stay was for a month and we would definitely return there again when visiting Progreso.

Comfy, everything you need for basic cooking is there. Took awhile to figure out which way was hot on the shower handle.door jamb is splintred apart as if it was forced open at some point. Top sheet on the bed is that awful slithery feeling cheap stuff. Quiet and relaxing. Well kept and clean.

We bought this property because when I was young my parents had a house near here, so I came all summer and when I saw this condo I loved it, we rented it because we can not come as often as we would like.

What makes this property unique

Playa Chaca is relaxed so you can enjoy the peace and tranquility but at the same time be close to everything, the apartment is in penthouse, so you must climb stairs two floors, the building is three floors and the stairs are very comfortable, has a pool and roof garden where you can see the beautiful sea, there you can make grilled meats or just sit down to have a glass of wine and read.
