Our family enjoyed staying here for our long weekend in Deep Creek. The house was spotless, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances. Our son enjoyed the playset, which gave the adults time to relax!

We had a great stay at Beautiful Adventure. The house was just perfect for us to have a relaxing stay. The house was clean and all equipment worked just fine. The hot tub was nice and the lawn was perfect for our dog. The location is very convenient to all that Deep Creek/Swallow Falls has to offer. We will be staying here again!

It is a beautiful house with a lot of natural light. The deck area and yard was spacious. Our dogs enjoyed the yard. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of silverware, plates, cups etc. Our only thing would be more cooking utensils and a propane tank. The propane tank was empty but the grill was perfectly clean.
It truly was a beautiful adventure. From the open floor plan to the huge back yard, we loved everything about our stay. The back patio was perfect for spending time relaxing with our fur family members and the hot tub was great on cool evenings.
Aside from a very close encounter with a small herd of deer on Rt 495, everything went as planned. The property is spacious and in a beautiful location. Sitting in the outdoor hot tub was divine. Rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was spacious and well equipped. Appliances all are updated and work perfectly.
We appreciated that this property is dog-friendly, which made our stay possible on short notice. The home was generally clean, and it’s important to note that the winter storm impacting our stay was a rare, large-scale national weather event affecting much of the United States, not typical weather for this ski town. While the storm itself was not the host’s fault, better communication from a large rental management company would have been appreciated, especially regarding safety protocols and travel guidance. We arrived around 1:00 AM on Friday (prior to the storm), and the door access code did not work. This left us outside in 1-degree temperatures for about 30 minutes while trying to reach someone through the emergency number, which was stressful and concerning. The storm arrived Saturday night, and due to worsening conditions and uncertainty about road safety, we chose to leave early rather than risk being unable to depart by the 10:00 AM Sunday checkout. With better communication, we may have avoided traveling at unsafe hours during a major storm.Additional issues included unclear instructions (such as the hot tub access code needing to be entered upward), a master bathroom door lock that sticks and caused someone to get locked inside, and space heaters stored in closets with no guidance despite being necessary for warmth. The kitchen was disappointing as well—most baking sheets did not fit the oven, and the one that did still had baked-on food from a previous use.

We loved this rental!! We have a 3 year old and an 11 month old. We really enjoyed the deck and the playground out back! Also the fact that it was a ranch was awesome. It was very clean and spacious for our family of 4. The location of the home was wonderful as well. We could get to everything really quickly. The Taylor Made Rebtal group was great to work with and very responsive. My husband wants to rent this home again. We will be back!!

Great space but needs some love.
6.5/10
Location was amazing, such a great spot. Loved the layout of the house and the large deck accompanied with the large backyard. The kids also loved the playground. Large ceilings in the living room was a bonus and the kitchen storage space was great. Having plenty of clean towels and soap for dishes was a plus!
But, there were a lot of negatives. Starting with the outside; Walking around on the deck out back there wasn’t anywhere i could walk without going through cobwebs. And you could tell they’ve been there a long time. The hot tub was also not working we were almost cooked alive at 108 degrees and no matter what we did the temp wouldn’t drop so we couldn’t enjoy that unfortunately. No access to the garage so had to walk around from the front everytime we wanted to get to the driveway. Seems like a small thing but with small kids and strollers, etc it’s definitely more of a hassle especially when paying to have a whole house to yourselves and expecting those conveniences. The jacuzzi tub fittings in the master bathroom were moldy and green and we didn’t feel comfortable using that. The bed in one of the spare bedrooms was broken upon arrival the first night and was sagging because of the wooden mounts being split. Had to use towels to prop it up and be able to sleep on it. A few door handle fittings need fixed and tightened leading to the deck out back. The outside of the house and deck need a good Powerwashing there’s lots of dirt and cobwebs.
Overall the house was pleasant, but needs a deep clean on the inside and out. Allowing more access to the house would increase value as well.
Nice place with spacious deck and back yard and hot tub. Close to town but no easy path to beach
Nice place with spacious deck and back yard and hot tub. Close to town but no easy path to beach. One brief issue with plumbing fixed within an hour by very helpful staff. Plenty of towels offered and linenes were great. Very positive stay.
This place was a great place to stay for our little weekend getaway. Easy check in and check out. It was close to the Wisp Resort in order to go snowboarding and was an easy commute in and out.
Very nice place. Beautiful land and very private. Interior was very nice and the laundry machines were actually really nice. Ceiling fans throughout and window air conditioning units kept the place cool. The kids loved the place and the playset and we saw deer and toads in the yard that the kids loved.
Doors to the deck were hard to open and close and there was some minor damage, likely from previous renters to the carpet in one of the bedrooms. The water is well water and sewage is septic. I’ve had worse and better experience with well water so while the filtering system could be improved, it could be worse. I would recommend drinking bottled water but it was fine for showers and such.
This place was perfect for our weekend getaway! Everything was as described and pictured and everything we needed was there. Couldn’t have asked for more for a place to spend a relaxing weekend!

OK - not very clean
Overall, our stay was fine. I emailed Taylor Made about all these concerns about 24 hours after checking in but I never heard back. The house was what we expected - dated decor but spacious, comfortable enough, and with all the necessities of a weekend getaway. The management company, Taylor Made, left me extremely disappointed. Upon arrival, our code to get in the house did not work. They gave me an emergency code so that we could get in and sent someone out to service the lock. When he arrived, he attempted to work on the lock but was unable to connect to the correct wifi signal to do anything, despite the fact that my husband and I could connect without a problem.
I was EXTREMELY disappointed to see that high-touch surfaces such as drawer pulls, light switches, stove burner knobs, and door handles were very dirty and grimy. I spent an hour and entire large canister of Clorox wipes cleaning those surfaces we would need to be touching frequently, in addition to the disgusting TV remotes, cup holders in the leather recliner, and the coffee/side tables. The two bathrooms were very clean, and they left us a travel-size bottle of hand sanitizer.
The back deck was LITTERED in dog feces, some of which was frozen to the deck and couldn't even be scraped off. I was annoyed that we had to bring our own soap&toilet paper. TM said it was "due to recent shortages" but those items have been readily available since at least July of 2020. It was unclear to me whether or not the comforters on the beds were freshly washed, however, and no mattress protectors on the mattresses, which made me uncomfortable.
Checkout instructions were unclear. On the fridge the directions said to set the thermostat to 55 but in the rooms it said 60. Lastly, it was disappointing to not find a park pass for all the state parks in the area, because the listing said the house should have a pass that we could use to visit the parks. The mattress in the master bedroom was definitely worn out and had dips on both sides. My husband and I both had trouble and pain from sleeping on it.
On the plus side, the appliances worked, the bathrooms were clean, and I'm told the mattresses in the two smaller rooms were decently comfortable. Overall, we'd consider staying there again because it had many different seating areas for families to gather, a large deck and hot tub, a private yard, and playground for kiddos. We'd just arrive knowing we need to clean and won't be 100% comfortable.
This was perfect for my fiance and I, my parents, and my sister for a weekend getaway. There are things that need updated for sure - like the stove that only has 2 burners working and the doors that are tough to close. We were unable to use much of the deck and backyard due to snow, but there was an area shoveled to get us into the hot tub which was very thoughtful! Its about 10-15 min away from town and the neighborhood was very quiet.
