It was a very Swedish experience. Quite a steep dr...

It was a very Swedish experience. Quite a steep drive but once used to it no problem. The lock on the door needs improvement, it opens really difficult. The ovenknob is broke, this should really be sorted, you cannot use the oven. For the rest, clean, everything as promised. Gamleby itself is not very interesting but the area is, lots of hikingpaths to be found.

The vacation home/cabin lived up to its description. The amenities and activities available were as described. A relatively authentic Swedish cabin with all the old-fashioned essentials. For us with children, it’s reassuring to be able to be undisturbed and close to nature, yet still close to civilization in case of illness or similar situations, where it’s convenient to be near a town, the road network, and so on.
