The house was very nice, clean, and very well-equi...

The house was very nice, clean, and very well-equipped. We felt very comfortable there. Access to the water was perfect. We could take our kayaks straight through the garden to the water and set out on trips from there, or go for a swim in the evening from the dock. We also enjoyed the wonderful, large patio. Communicating with Pia was a pleasure, too! She was very friendly, gave great tips, and responded quickly to our questions. The surrounding area is ideal for activities: kayaking, biking, hiking, or day trips to Faaborg, Svendborg, Odense, Ærø…. We highly recommend the house and the area and will definitely be back!!!

We’re completely in love with this beautiful place...

We’re completely in love with this beautiful place and this lovingly decorated house. Everything was wonderful! Pia was a very warm and welcoming host. We were provided with everything we needed for our baby and dog (high chair, bed, food bowl…). The house and the fenced-in garden are absolutely gorgeous. A direct view of the sea and what is probably Denmark’s most beautiful beach. Totally quiet and private—just a 1-minute walk from the house. Perfect for relaxing! We would definitely come back.

Pia’s house is wonderful, especially the large liv...

Pia’s house is wonderful, especially the large living/dining/kitchen area (including a fireplace). This room has floor-to-ceiling windows running the entire length of the front (about 10 meters!): when you’re sitting comfortably inside, you feel as if you’re outside—with an unobstructed view of the green garden and the sea. Since it was the off-season, the entire vacation home community was very quiet. Pia gave us excellent tips on how to find our way around the house. Her suggestions for excursions in the immediate vicinity of the house were just as helpful. Take Pia’s advice—it’s worth it!! Faaborg (8 km away) is a lovely little town where you can find everything you need. The ferry rides to one of the islands off the coast of Faaborg are well worth it. It’s best to bring a bike or rent one. We had excellent communication with Pia via email. She answered our questions right away—often with a great sense of humor. Maybe we’ll get to meet her next time—farewell (Tschüss)
