The charming wooden house is set on a lovely nature plot that offers climbing, caves and hide-and-seek games, and even with the slightest sun, the terrace is warm and lovely.
The cottage is kept simple and stylish - all black on the outside and light colours and wood on the inside. There are two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and a large wardrobe. The other has two bunk beds, sleeping four comfortably. So there is room for 8 sleepers, but as the house is not that big, it is better suited for fewer guests at a time.
The living room and kitchen are one, and this is clearly the heart of the house. There is a fantastic view over Aarhus Bay, Aarhus city and the green fields. From the sofa, dining table and kitchen you can enjoy the scenery while cooking or playing games. You can completely relax in front of the wood-burning stove as the seasons change with the weather. The trees close off the grounds, so you feel isolated from neighbours as you sit on the terrace and enjoy the view.
A pleasant path leads down to a lovely shallow sandy beach. It is about 750 m to the water, and the way there goes easily down the hill - going back, the little ones need a little push up the hill.
There are many great walks and runs in the area. On Molshoved you can feel the land meet the sea with steep slopes and open spaces. Wildlife is abundant, and the cottage is visited daily by badgers and deer when darkness falls. You can follow the wildlife across the fields and meadows, and the rich birdlife in the treetops.
