This highly coveted neighborhood is a quiet, beautiful residential area with brick lined streets, charming houses and canopies of trees greeting you wherever you roam.

This comfy cottage has 1 fully renovated Bathroom and completely updated Compact Kitchen stocked full of every kitchen essential you may need.

BRAND new decor and owner has spared no expense with your comfort in mind.

NO need to bring coffee , half n half, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry soap, dryer sheets ect. The cottage is fully stocked so you won't need to run out when you arrive.

The bedroom is Shabby Chic with a Brand New KING sized bed an wall mounted Smart TV

Cottage is fully equipped with a 55 Inch Flat Screen Television in living room, Full Cable and Wifi

A Large, private, open air porch for enjoying your morning coffee/tea, relaxing and meeting the locals as they stroll on by.

Step off your porch, walk around the corner and you bump right into Black Crow Coffee, Old Northeast Tavern and Northeast Pizza- right in your very own neighborhood!

You are 2 blocks from the Palladium and a short walk to St. Peters burg's famous Beach Drive.

Beach Drive serves as an anchor to all of our downtown's eclectic outside dining, shopping and all our uniquely diversified districts. ( ALL within walking distance of your bungalow)

Apologies for the delay; we hit the ground running when we got back to the UK. We just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay! The apartment was absolutely perfect and every little detail made the stay that much more perfect. (I used the yoga mat a few times, sunscreen too, and the welcome basket was delicious!) The whole place is so clean, so cozy and the decor is so cool and modern (the lamp with the USB charger is great!) We cook a lot as well so having everything to do so in the kitchen was excellent.

Seeing your pups outside was a nice bonus as well; I always miss our big boy when we're away so I definitely said hello to your sweethearts a few times. :)

All of the info for the house and the city was a great touch and than you for having laundry available 24/7. So helpful! We'll definitely recommend you if we know of anyone coming to visit the area.Thank you for being an incredible hostess and for having such a great place; it made our visit to St. Pete so chill and relaxing!

The Lucky Dog Inn is amazing!!!! Host has done an incredible job of decorating and thinking of everything that will make your stay extremely comfortable. I have had the opportunity to stay twice, once a shorter stay and one extended. It truly is home away from home. I made many dinners and everything I needed was in the small/beautiful and well appointed kitchen. I work from home and worked each day at the cottage with no concerns. The location is fabulous and I rarely got in the car. The beach cruiser bikes are awesome and provide transportation anywhere you want to go.Host is available day and night for any questions you might have about the area.They are very gracious hosts. I highly recommend Lucky Dog Inn if you are lucky enough to be in downtown St Pete.

Fabulous stay as always!

This was at least our 3rd stay at the Lucky Dog Inn. Kelly is fabulous, easy to reach, and concerned about the quality of the stay. The location is great and we walked to all the fun and wonderful things in downtown St Pete. We love this property and will certainly plan to stay again.

Kelly is a wonderful host! She is very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and must see locations. The guest house is decorated beautifully and was immaculate. I would highly recommend this property, and will be going back next year!

We had a very positive experience staying at the Lucky Inn for one week. It is in a great location very close to the downtown area which makes it walkable. Every thing we needed at the bungalow was available to us and it was very comfortable and cozy.

Warm Welcome and Easy Living

The Lucky Dog Inn is a very sweet home away from home. Kelly made sure I felt welcome and provided for the minute I arrived. The access to everything is amazingly easy, and the front porch a great morning evening oasis. I would recommend the stay highly.

Charming Cottage

What an awesome stay! From the moment we arrived we knew we had made a great decision. The location was perfect, the hosts were fabulous, and the amenities were everything we needed. No complaints. Very nice neighborhood where you can walk around and enjoy shopping and eating. The pier is a 10 min walk away with so much to see and do. We would love to stay here again when back in town.

Great location

My husband and I stayed at Lucky Dog Inn for 9 nights recently. The unit matches the description and photos, and we found it to be clean and well-stocked with linens, dishes, shampoo, etc. We were able to cook a few simple meals. The laundry in the garage, which requires walking outside to get to, is a large capacity and worked well. Having the driveway to park the car was valuable, as the streets in this neighborhood only allow 2 hour parking. The beautiful new Museum of American Arts and Crafts is just a few blocks away from the house. The neighborhood was quiet at night, and we enjoyed walking downtown and to the many bayfront parks.

Cozy ,comfy home away from home.

This little place is a gem. Its everything I was looking for during my stay--- super convenient location, all the comforts of home, and a safe area with privacy. The owner, Kelly, lives in another part of the the property which was totally separate but readily available if I needed anything. She made me feel most welcomed with special touches throughout the house. I highly recommend The Lucky Dog little inn for solo travelers.

Could not have been more pleased!

This was our first stay at the Lucky Dog and we could not have been more pleased with the accommodations and experience. The Lucky Dog was beautifully decorated with every detail. The owner Kelly was amazing and stayed in touch with our every need and question. Very convenient walk or bike ride to downtown St. Pete. Easy access to beaches as well. We will definitely be back. Wonderful Host!

I’ve been using vrbo for a very long time but never had the inclination to add a comment but I think Kelly deserves one, she is a wonderful host!!!!, excellent at communicating. Her place is cozy, nice and clean, you don’t need to bring anything except your clothes/swim suit 😀, she got it all for you from kitchen to bathroom essentials. Location is perfect. We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is small, but very cute and well done. Everything was clean and there were no issues during the stay. The pictures are very representative. And the neighborhood is great, historic, and very walkable. Kelly was a great host and was attentive to anything we needed. She lives on property, so was readily accessible. We plan to return next year.

Just Like Home

The cottage has perfect accommodations for a couple or single with a dog. There’s not been one detail spared. It’s a hybrid between high-end hotel hospitality and farmhouse chic all wrapped up in a wonderful neighborhood! Kelly is incredibly generous and kind. Adorable cottage

Kelly was an incredible host with amazing attention to detail and responsiveness. This is one of the best places my husband and I have ever stayed. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! We stayed at the Lucky Dog for 29 nights. It was a wonderful place to call home during this time. The Lucky Dog is everything as advertised. We had a great stay. Kelly made us feel very welcome and she made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped the bed was very comfortable. Lots of extras in the closet. Plenty of extra towels, blankets and sunscreen. You get exactly what is described in the listing and the photos show it. It is very cozy and quiet. Walkable to everything...Restaurants to water! The small cottage in the Historic Northeast neighborhood met all our expectations and more. It was impeccably clean, stocked with everything you could possibly need, and had high quality comfortable up to date furnishings. We were greeted on arrival with home made banana bread and our favorite bottle of wine. Kelly and John were extremely friendly and helpful but yet respected our privacy. The neighborhood is awesome. Coffee shops and restaurants and beaches in walking distance. We loved it so much that we reserved the same time next year. Our dog Koda enjoyed it as much as we did.

Great stay in St. Pete

We had a great 2 week stay in St. Pete, thanks in part to the location and comfort of the Lucky Dog Inn. Directions and check in were a breeze, and we were met with a cottage that is generously and comfortably stocked. The space was spotless, the linens were clean and fresh, the kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy cocktails, wine, and meals cooked at home - including a propane BBQ that we used often. The porch is the perfect place to set out for morning coffee, there was so much activity on the street to keep us entertained. The proximity to downtown, restaurants, the waterfront and the pier is perfect. Our car stayed home most of the time and we walked everywhere. We really enjoyed our time, and will definitely be back!

First Trip Ever To St. Petersburg, FL

What a wonderful time we had a "The Lucky Dog Inn". We just loved this cottage. We were here for the Tampa Bay Bluesfest and It was just perfect! Great location! Loved the front porch and the layout of the cottage. It had everything you needed. The kitchen is small but very well stocked. The bed was very comfortable and so was the rest of the furniture. We can't say enough about it. Kelly and John were great and so helpful! They were there if you needed anything or just to visit. We hope that one day we can return.

Convenient, Charming Cottage

Everything about Kelly is awesome! It’s obvious that it’s important to her that her guests are comfortable and enjoy their time spent there. John is always happy to help if there is anything additional that you need. The location is wonderful, a reasonably short walk to many fabulous dog-friendly restaurants. It's the kind of neighborhood that I would be delighted to call home. To really enjoy the sand between your toes requires a drive but plenty of beaches to check out, some of which are dog friendly. I plan to return, looking forward to it. Thank you for a fabulous few weeks!

This is a MUST if you’re in St. Petersburg

The cutest little cottage with all the necessities & then some. Kelly was a phenomenal host that left us banana bread, wine/beer, and almond creamer upon arrival just to make us feel welcome & at home. John is the property manager that takes care of any & every need. Both communicated very well & are HUGE dog lovers!! As are we! 🐾 They were extremely accommodating to our fur babies. Perfectly charming!

We just got back from our one week at Lucky Dog Inn and fell in love not only with this charming well equipped cottage in the old Northeast part of St Petersburg but also the great location! We loved our morning walks everyday along the bay which is only a couple of blocks away. The quaint cottage is so inviting and the front porch is amazing! We met so many people walking their pets or just strolling by! Walking distance to everything, (so many yummy restaurants), and a 10 minute drive to our favorite gulf beaches. Kelly and John were amazing and the goodies that were waiting for us when we arrived after a 15 hour drive were such a nice surprise❤️ Kelly’s is an amazing host to rent from and her fur babies are the sweetest! Don’t miss out on this well kept secret!

Cozy & Welcoming

My wife and I stayed here as one of us was having a surgery in the area and we needed a comfortable place to promote healing and relaxation. The place was immaculant, cozy, welcoming and equipped with everything you may need. When we arrived there was a bottle of presseco in the fridge and freshly baked banana bread waiting for us. Kelly was available if we needed anything and was flexible when we needed to extend our stay due to post op follow up visits. If that isnt enough the location is prime and just a short walk away to downtown with a variety of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Oh, and if you love pups they're right next door for some puppy therapy. We absolutely loved everything about our stay and look forward to our next trip! Thank you Kelly, your hospitality was appreciated!
