Panoramic views of the Pacific, an infinity pool, and a private spa. Casa Alta is a four-bedroom villa situated on a private 1.75-acre ridge in the gated community of Las Ventanas de Playa Grande, and comparable villas in the area do not offer this combination.
Each of the four bedrooms has its own bathroom, spread across two levels so a group can spread out or gather in one place. The spa is a separate building featuring a gym, a dry sauna, a steam room, an ice bath, and a jacuzzi—a complete hot-and-cold circuit just a few steps from the pool.
Playa Grande and its surf are just minutes down the hill, and Tamarindo is fifteen minutes away: close enough for dinner, yet far enough from the noise. Inside the gates, there is 24-hour security, a clubhouse and pool with ocean views, tennis and pickleball courts, and more than five kilometres of trails. A back gate leads to Bahía de los Piratas and Playa Minas in about ten minutes by car, and from October to February, leatherback turtles nest at Playa Grande, the protected beach for which the national park is named.
The house sits high on the ridge, overlooking open hills and the Pacific in a part of Guanacaste teeming with wildlife. Howler monkeys move through the trees and often call at dawn.
