Perfect spot to explore Bonnnieux and the Luberon

'La Source' is the perfect villa to be based at in Bonnieux. Everything is within walking distance which makes for a very relaxing stay. The villa has a rustic, traditional feel and has everything you need for a holiday.

Amazing tranquil location

Spent a wonderful week in La source exploring markets and other hilltop villages. It was wonderful to return to La source in the afternoon to relax by the pool in the verdant garden and enjoy the amazing view.

In Beautiful Bonnieux

A lovely little property looking across at the Luberon with a lovely garden to relax in and a pool to swim in. Loved the bedroom too as the big clear glass windows enabled you to gaze at the moon and stars in the night sky.

Bonnieux is a great base for exploring the area. The property is accessed by 53 uneven steps down from the street which was challenging with luggage. These steps and the 35 up into town kept is fit and able to enjoy great food and wine without gaining a pound. The cottage is charming and the views of the Luberon are beautiful. We enjoyed many late afternoons outdoors relaxing and reading

Wonderful stay

The property is beautiful and just as pictured. Antonin and Gaelle very friendly and quickly fixed a small shower problem. Kitchen very well equipped. Walking distance to everything one could need in this beautiful village. We will return in the future

What a wonderful place

We had a wonderful stay in this super beautyful, lovingly furnished and idyllically situated vacation home.The surrounding area offers many wonderful excursion possibilities.We especially enjoyed refreshing ourselves in the pool.We had a lot of fun playing boules.Thank you again for this wonderful vacation.We would love to come back.Thank you for this great service.

The place looks amazing online, it is very nice but it was not clean. My sister was staying in the smaller house and it really was disgusting. We cleaned it ourselves. The bigger house where my husband & I stayed was OK, we also had to clean & there were lots of little ants in the kitchen (just don't leave anything out)! Almost all the mugs were chipped, we even bought decent wine glasses. The best thing about the place was the pool which we certainly took advantage of with the hot weather. It would have been nice if the person responsible for the pool would come round but he comes only once you check-out. The grounds are not so inviting (of course the grass was dry due to the heat) but it was not well groomed especially not the top part where you can play "Boules" we did not use this as it was not inviting. In the end, we enjoyed Bonnieux but I would not return to this place and would not recommend it. By the way, the stairs are a killer (uneven & big steps) - if you stay there, travel light!

Agréable séjour, dans un très beau village. Les chambres sont grandes et la vue est magnifique.2 figuiers généreux nous ont donné de succulentes figues.Pourquoi pas 5 etoiles? :2 jours de pluies ont eu raison de l'étanchéité du toit qui a fuit dans notre chambre, la pression d'eau chaude dans la seconde chambre est quasi nulle, et une poubelle de cuisine cassée particulièrement ennuyante.

Traumschöner Blick auf den Luberon

Zwei kleine Häuschen, geschmackvoll ausgestattet, auf einem Terassengrundstück mit kleinem Pool am Hang von Bonnieux, uneinsehbar, mit Blick auf den gegenüberliegenden Luberon, Traumlage. Grundstück nur über eine steile Treppe erreichbar, daher schwierig, wenn eigene E-Bikes mitgenommen werden. Ansonsten sehr zufrieden!

Merci pour votre commentaire Caroline, bien que très surprenant sur tous les points évoqués, nos locataires nous attribuant en général 5 étoiles... En effet vous m'avez indiqué APRÈS votre réservation que vous aviez une remorque contrairement à ce que vous m'avez dit... Je vous ai proposé de la poser dans mon propre jardin à 1 km de LA SOURCE pour vous arranger, ce dont je n'était pas obligé. Il y a effectivement eu une météo désastreuse dans tout le sud de la France une journée avec une très légère fuite "qui vous a fait bien rigoler" comme vous me l'avez écrit... Par ailleurs effectivement le jardin n'a pas les mêmes plantes en septembre qu'au mois de mai par exemple, nous n'allons pas mettre des photos des 4 saisons... Vous avez forcé la porte de la machine à laver et laissé la maison en état peu respectueux, nous ne vous recommandons pas.

Kleines Paradies in Bonnieux

Wir haben zwei wunderschöne und erholsame Urlaubswochen im Juli/August 2024 im Ferienhaus LA SOURCE von Gastgeber Antonin verbracht. Die Unterkunft besteht aus zwei kleinen separaten Gebäuden, der Pool liegt in der Mitte dazwischen. Das Grundstück befindet sich auf mehreren Terrassen, die wunderschön zwischen alten Mauern unterhalb der Stadtbefestigung von Bonnieux liegen. Der Blick auf den Luberon ist fantastisch! In den Ort läuft man zu Fuß nur ein paar Meter. Antonin war ein freundlicher und sympathischer Gastgeber, der immer ansprechbar war und sich um alles gekümmert hat. Kleine Kritik: Leider haben uns einige nachtaktive Tiere den Schlaf beeinträchtigt, die nachts auf dem Glasdach des Schlafzimmers umhergelaufen sind. Ein bisschen mehr Pflege könnte das Grundstück gebrauchen (Unkraut und vertrocknete Pflanzen in den Pflanzkübeln). Und bei dem stolzen Preis von 2.000 € pro Woche könnten auch mal ein paar neue Gartenliegen angeschafft werden. Trotz der kleinen Kritikpunkte, die aber mit ein bisschen Pflegeaufwand zu beheben sind, können wir einen Urlaub in LA SOURCE uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es ist ein ganz besonders charmantes Ferienhaus in fantastischer Lage in Bonnieux.

Bezaubernder Ort, aber…

… leider war der Pool im Oktober nicht mehr zu benutzen. Bei einem starken Regenguss kam nachts dann auch noch Wasser durch das Dach. Der Vermieter war stets gut erreichbar, aber ausgerechnet in diesen beiden Punkten nicht „am Start“. Wirklich schade - wir hätten ansonsten an diesen charmanten Ort im traumschönen Luberon wirklich unser Herz verlieren können. Mit den zwei Häuschen, der Traumaussicht und der ruhigen, aber zentralen Lage eigentlich ein ganz besonderes Kleinod.

Merci pour votre commentaire Katharina, mais j'ai effectivement fermé la piscine comme je vous l'avais indiqué la veille de votre réservation mi octobre, car les températures baissaient fortement, et ne pensais pas que vous souhaiteriez vous baigner dans une piscine à 16 C°... Par ailleurs concernant les gouttes qui tombaient ça n'est jamais arrivé je vais vérifier, mais il avait énormément plus ce jours là...

Emplacement idéal et au calme

Petite maison dans village magnifique avec piscine. Très calme. Idéalement située mais attention ne convient pas aux personnes en situation d’handicap ou ayant des difficultés à marcher. On y accède par une cinquantaine de marches. Bonnieux et toute la région sont magnifiques et sont à découvrir.

Hübsches kleines Anwesen mit Garten in einmaliger Umgebung

Hervorzuheben ist die tolle Lage. Das kleine, einfache Anwesen befindet sich im schönen Dorf Bonnieux, diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuss erreichbar, dennoch ist es sehr ruhig. Bonnieux liegt im eindrucksvollen Biosphärenreservat Luberon. Der Garten eröffnet den Blick auf die üppige Natur mit ihrer schönen Geräuschkulisse. Rund um Bonnieux gibt es unzählige gute Restaurants und schöne Dörfer, die zu einem Besuch einladen. Das Anwesen ist einfach gehalten, bietet jedoch alles, was man benötigt. Vom Dorf aus erreicht man das Häuschen über eine steile, lange Treppe, es ist daher nur für trittsichere Personen zu empfehlen.

vacances de charme au calme

Nous avons apprécié séjourner dans cette charmante maison sur les terrasses de Bonnieux au calme avec un belle vue sur le Luberon tout en profitant de la piscine ou du terrain de pétanque. On se sent seul tout en étant proche du centre du village. Très bon accueil des propriétaires.

Parfait à quelques détails près

Très bonne situation, proche du centre et des commerces. Très calme au milieu de la végétation. Piscine, machine à laver et lave vaisselle. Pour rappel, 56 marches à descendre (et à remonter) pour accéder à la propriété. Quelques détails manquent pour être parfait : une bouteille d'eau (ou un rafraichissement) dans le frigo pour l'arrivée des occupants après une longue route, grille du BBQ pas très propre, une penderie dans les chambres pour défaire les valises, électricité vascillente par temps de pluie (orage), quelques pièges à fourmis supplémentaires..., linge de maison un peu "rèche" (manque de l'adouiccissant pour les esssuies mis à disposition), quelques beaux verres pour le vin,... . Des petits détails certes mais qui peuvent faire la diffférence pour que ce soit parfait ! J'aurais bien voulu octroyer un 9/10, on en est tout proche.
