Ocean Manor Beach Resort

This unit is located on the 6th floor and is a wonderful 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium. The condo has an incredible open private balcony, overlooking the Ocean Manor Resort's pool, and the Atlantic Ocean.

The condo is privately owned and managed and it is thoroughly cleaned before every check-in . The unit is tastefully furnished.

Parking is provided by a privately operated company. As of January 1, 2025 the cost is $ 18/day (these prices are subject to change without notice.

This condo has a light ceramic tile floor, and white walls. The condo is a bright unit, with large floor to ceiling windows and sliding glass doors out to the balcony. One of the bedrooms has a king sized bed, and the other bedroom has two full double beds. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa. Both bedrooms have full bathrooms, and large closets.

The unit has three HD TVs, one in each bedroom, and one in the living room. There is a desk, and the unit has free high speed WIFI.

The full kitchen is fully stocked with a refrigerator, new dishwasher, oven, and microwave; plus all the pots, pans, plates, flatware, and glasses that you will need. The kitchen has wood cabinets and granite counters!
600 is one of the few units in the Ocean Manor with a new Samsung front load washer and dryer!

The private open balcony has an incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean, overlooking the Ocean Manor's pool. It has a table and four chairs.

Down at the beach you will find the pool, Tiki Bar Restaurant and the beach :) You can rent beach lounge chairs and umbrellas at the beach. We also provide four beach chairs to bring down to the beach.

In the Lobby you can find a coffee shop, bank machine, gift shop, hair dressing & spa shop and an Italian restaurant. The prices are listed outside of the spa and restaurant.

CVS, a variety of restaurants & souvenir shops are all within a 10 minute walk. McDonald's restaurant is just across the street from the main entrance.

The condo is approximately 1200 square feet (120 square meter), including the balcony.

The Ocean Manor is located at 4040 Galt Ocean Dr, Ft Lauderdale, FL. 33308 It is 10.9 miles from the Ft Lauderdale Airport (FLL) which is a 23 minute drive.
It is 36.4 miles from the Miami Airport (MIA) which is a 49 minute drive.

This condo is strictly NON-SMOKING, please. No pets. No parties. No exceptions.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please start a load of wash with towels & wash clothes.
Please keep the sheets folded back on the beds the cleaners will strip and wash the bedding.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
It is unlawful to allow for a sexual offender or predator to occupy this residence. City of Fort Lauderdale mandates a Noise Monitor system for STRs.
Guest will have 24 hours to sign and return the rental agreement from time of booking . A photo ID is also required to confirm booking. City Required
All the doors and windows must remain closed when the a/c is running. Running them with the doors open result in expensive repair and water leaking.

Nice 2 bedroom with a balcony facing the ocean, tiki bar & pool. The unit and the Ocean Manor property as a whole are a little dated but overall it was a nice stay. The only part that bothered me was their handicap route to the beach/pool/tiki bar area is the service elevator. You have to take an all-metal smelly service elevator to the basement where the hotel workers lockers are, where they are washing all the hotel's towels, etc. It’s a pretty dingy down there, not a great place to have to pass through several times a day.

The tiki bar is really fun. A place you can have breakfast in the morning and food & drinks late into the evening. There is a jukebox with a variety of music and all the sports on the tv screens covering all the sporting events.

This 2 BR/2b condo directly on The Galt Mile was perfect for our stay in Fort Lauderdale while we were in town for The Florida Derby. The property sits in a very walkable neighborhood.The views from the balcony are superb. The floor to ceiling window in the bedroom offered a spectacular 24-7 pool and ocean view! The tiki and restaurant made it easy to stay at the property. We had everything we could possibly need including beach gear and easy to follow information to guide us through the stay. Streaming, DVD's, and reading literature all made our stay feel like at home. It was great having a washer/dryer in unit to launder our clothing as we were flying out of Fort Lauderdale after the derby weekend. Two shirts were left behind and Christina was gracious enough to offer a solution! I can't say enough about Christina and her condo. We have recommended the condo to friends and we would love to return ourselves! Thank you for hosting us Christina!

The unit has a stunning ocean view and view of sunrise from all rooms and deck. The unit is updated. The listing said no one under 25 and no parties. I mistakenly thought that went for the whole property. Unfortunately the complex was overwhelmed with spring break kids, partying until 3 or 4 a.m. also I did not find the unit to be as clean as other reviewers. The drip coffee pot was very dirty with visible dirt. There were no cleaning supplies to clean counters, used hand wipes. The beach chairs were rusty. The tiki hut has great food but it was over crowded with spring breakers. were rusty.

The condos along the water that a allowed to rent out their condos in Fort Lauderdale are usually condo hotels because the status allows for short term rentals. The condo rented was a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom condo directly on the ocean with direct ocean views. The building being a condo hotel provide amenities like the tiki bar restaurant on the beach by the pool, an Italian restaurant off of the lobby, a hair salon / spa off of the lobby, souvenir shop, coffee shop and a atm machine in the lobby area. We hope that our guests enjoy these at the condo during their vacation. Lauderdale by the sea is 1 mile north and Fort Lauderdale beach is 1 mile south where a a bunch of shops and restaurants are there to be enjoyed. within a short 10 minute walk of the condo there is a grocery store, pharmacy, souvenir shop, restaurants, wine shops and much more.

We love Fort Lauderdale and have been searching for a long time to find a condo building that suited our lifestyle.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this building because of its fantastic location. Right on the beach :) and the idea that it is a condo hotel. Since the property is a condo hotel we can rent it out on a weekly basis and it does not sit empty while we are too busy to come for a holiday. We love the idea that we can share our place to relax with our guests when we are not here.

What makes this property unique

The condo is located on the Galt Ocean Mile which is directly on the beach. There is not a road or any obstruction between us and the ocean & beach. The beach & ocean just a short elevator ride down to the ground floor and a few steps away. In addition to having the beach right at your feet, if you are not into swimming in the ocean there is a wonderful heated pool with a Tiki bar.
There is a grocery store, lots of restaurants, CVS, liquor store and much much more all within a short walk. If you don't want to rent a car you can still easily enjoy your stay without a car. :)
