This was an amazing property with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea! Plenty of room, many terraces , large infinity pool, comfortable accommodations. Be advised it’s quite the winding road to get there but you will be rewarded when you do !

Our family of nine stayed for a week at this modern home. We enjoyed the pool and the views. The elders in the group definitely appreciated the elevator. We cooked many meals in the kitchen. The photos of the house give an accurate sense of the spaces and decor. All of that said, would not choose to stay here again. The twin rooms could not be configured as a double as was advertised in the listing. The house also has some deferred maintenance and was not particularly clean/prepped upon our arrival. The property manager and owner were very responsive, but the issues that we brought to their attention were not resolved during our stay. Hopefully this was just an off week.

Beautiful Home

Nice place. Each room has good privacy. Safe and quiet neighborhood with very little through-traffic. Perfect if you're looking for a remote get-away and solitude.

The house is like you see in the pictures - beautiful large living space with a view of trees and the sea. We were there at the end of May and got really good sunshine - lovely morning sun, a good amount of dappled shade on the pool, and sunshine on the garden and terrace area into late afternoon. We glimpsed dolphins leaping out of the sea!Perfectly clean and comfortable beds. Excellent black out blinds in all bedrooms. Some areas of house and the fittings are a little tired. The pool water recycling system didn't seem to be working properly so the 'infinity edge' didn't flow over. Would have been nice to have a few more holiday bits available - e.g. there is a ping pong table outside but only two battered bats, and there is no 'welcome pack' that includes information on the house and the local area. The road up from Sa Riera is single lane in quite a few places - you need a confident driver! The road to Aiguafreda and Sa Tuna is much easier - mostly two lanes. Sa Tuna is lovely quaint place for a swim with the fish and drink at the cafe.

Fantastic villa, excellent experience

Our group of 9 adults has just returned from a week's stay in this beautiful villa. Our whole experience was perfect, from the excellent communication of Jane, the property manager, to the location and layout of the villa itself. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this stunning property - in fact, we're already planning. return visit next year!

Modern large villa with beautiful water view

Waking up to the serenity of the water view and getting into the heated pool of this property is one of the highlights of my first trip to Spain. The place was very spacious for our family of seven adults and one child to spread out or come together to enjoy the pool, a pingpong game, or a meal at one of the indoor or outdoor dining tables. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the outdoor grill is a great option for a delicious meal. Within a short drive of about 15 minutes we reached the local grocery store or the charming little town of Begur. (Hint: make a left when you leave the villa to drive on the two-lane road instead of the narrow one lane road to the right.) Our host was very responsive and attentive to our requests and needs. Our whole family loved this property and had a memorable time at Begur.

Treat yourself to this cliff-top luxury

We first booked this property when we thought our party was going to be 9-10 ppl. We ended up as a party of 7, but couldn't bear to choose another location (there aren't many in this area!). It was truly spectacular. The online photos/description are very accurate yet it takes your breath away when you arrive. We were greeted by Jane and she tended to any needs during our 4-night stay (pool temp, small elevator problem - must be we as Americans like our pool water a little cooler!). She oriented us completely to the property upon arrival. This is luxury seclusion, while you enjoy your own infinity pool, gazing at the ocean. So quiet and serene. Kitchen has everything you'd need and there are grocers nearby (few minute drive). The driving is interesting, very narrow roads with a lot of hairpin turns, but that is typical for the region. Several minute drive into Begur for charming dining/shopping, just don't have too much sangria while you're out! The home is furnished with some very interesting artwork that also delights. If we ever return to this area, this has to be the place. Treat yourself, you won't regret it! Thanks to the owners for sharing this lovely and unique home.

Peace and Quiet

This was a tranquil space with amazing views and affords multiple guest spaces that afford comfort and privacy. The bedding is very good to exceptional. There are numerous seating chairs throughout that are good. I usually fuss over sofa's and personally do not care for the attractive but low sofa's that in my opinion are sub par for comfort. Typical of most VRBO's I found the same here. The kitchen is very well equipped, though if not familiar with the brands there is a learning curve on usage. While in relatively good shape the property shows signs of time and wear and perhaps a little neglect given the price. For example, we broke the washing machine attempting to get it open. We then discovered from the manager that "yes" the washer could be tricky to open and she'd had to wrestle with it for others. The property manager was exceptional at responding back to us in a timely fashion. We did run into quirks at the outset that were frustrating but resolved. The devil is in the details. These were worked out but improvement here would have made us feel better about the cost. These were: 1. Checkin was not a clear process meaning the need to meet at check in was required and a set timeframe was expected, 2. There was a lot of confusion over wifi access and passwords, 3. The oil in the oil tank was empty and we discovered this with cold showers in the morning, 4. Unique elevator instructions were not conveyed to us which led to a disabled elevator.

Amazing property. Views and house cannot be beat. It is exactly as pictured online. Beds were comfortable, house was very spacious and everything was well stocked. Only downside is it is not really walkable to much there, but as long as you have a car, this is an unforgettable spot.

Muchas gracias Sr.Segolene¡¡
