Experience Your Vacation Haven

There is quite a lot of beach to see when you step out onto the enormous balcony space that Beachside One 4101 has to offer! Two balconies and large bedroom windows welcome you to lose track of time as you gaze out onto the beach. Coastal hues color the condo and chic furniture invites you in immediately as you walk in through the door. The large kitchen can be seen right as you walk in, with spacious countertops and stainless steel appliances, complete with a breakfast bar overlooking the dining area and living area. The living area has a plethora of places to sit, next to the the balcony access with the wonderful views of the beach. The bedrooms are inviting, both with flat screen televisions, huge beds, and luxurious bathrooms. Whether you want to eat inside or out on the balcony, there are tables and chairs in both locations. There is also a washer and dryer in the condo for you to use at your leisure. In addition, the unit comes with a 4 seater golf cart that is stored in a garage just steps from the building.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: THere were four of us and we really enjoyed out time there. I think our favorite part was the golf cart and where all we could go. We discovered some great places we never would have if not for the where the gold cart could go. THe only thing we were a little disappointed in was the cart would not go very fast and there were no blinkers and the lights were dim.

Almost perfect

We had a great time. The property was exactly what we were expecting. Great location with the beach right there, and a short golf cart ride to the shops and restaurants at the Wharf. The only issue was the pool being closed, but we knew that ahead of time. Looks like it is going to be a great pool and we can't wait to use it next summer.

Location is awesome

The beach and the pool were steps away. View from both balconies was awesome. Beds were very comfortable. Interior a bit dated and could use some updating. The complex was well kept and very secure. We dod not use the golfncart but many people were using carts.We will stay again next year, just longer....

This condo had amazing views from the 10th floor. An added benefit was the second uncovered balcony. It was much larger in size, and gave us great views of the stars at night. The condo was clean and updated, and fit our family perfectly. Also, the included golf cart was great for running over to Baytowne Wharf and to restaurants nearby!

Both properties were in excellent condition, and the only issue we had was the TV in the bedroom was not working. Within. 24 hours they had someone onsite to fix it. I highly recommend Beachside One and using My Vacation Haven for your next family vacation.

This condo needs some TLC . The beds are comfortable but the furniture is worn. Beachside one is the best!

This place was nice. A little old but the beds were comfortable. Checkin was a nightmare. It took 3 or four code changes just to get in the door. When emailing in advance someone would answer just one of several questions I had so i had to keep writing. The grounds were nice though. No washer and dryer in unit and coffee pot was broken. Overall the condo was just ok.

Unit was immaculate and freshly updated with coastal colors, decor and new hardwood flooring. A spacious well stocked kitchen included everything necessary for your stay. Both bedrooms were large with comfortable king beds, generous closet/storage space and "awesome" blackout curtains. Taking this unit over-the-top are the two balconies!!! Watched many beautiful sunsets; the 10th floor views are spectacular. Golf cart ran well with a lot of zip. Owner provides some beach chairs and umbrellas, if needed. Nothing but positive comments from this happy guest! Already looking forward to next year. MVH was great to work with.

Rough Start

We arrived after a 14 hour drive to a dead keypad so it was 3-4 hours after our arrival that we could even get into the condo. There is no staff on sight for these situations, so we had to wait for a locksmith. I understand things like this happen, but to have to call someone that is not even in the same state and wait hours to get it resolved instead of having staff on sight to handle this is frustrating. Then the next day, we realized the keys for the golf cart were missing and I had to call several times to get that straightened out. Once we got into the condo and had keys, the rest of the experience was great! But it had a very rough start and it is unacceptable to not have staff on sight to handle these situations. The condo itself is much older and not in as good of shape as the pictures show, but the location is great and the resort itself was amazing!

Reviewer Comments: I wanted to start with saying most of the trip was amazing, golf cart, working AC, working icebox, and most of the condo was in good condition. The washing machine did not work, so I called the company and a repair person was sent. The machine could not be fixed and told someone else would come. Never heard anything else again until I called the next day and told someone else would come. After that person left we still had no resolution. I had to call multiple times and plead for towels and wash cloths because we had no clean linens. It was very inconvenient not having the washing machine, and it was almost like begging for help at times. If these issues would be corrected I would have enjoyed the stay much better.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo and time with our friends for an adult vacation. However, we did have some pros/cons about the condo that should be address. If these things would have been taken care of the stay would have been great and we would consider coming back. However, we will be looking into other condos for future trips. Pros: -Location/Views/Proximity to Baytowne- closest condo to beach/views are amazing/being able to hop on the golf cart and go to Baytowne was very convenient. -Big balcony- we enjoyed having a place to sit outside and enjoy the ocean. It was nice to have two balconies to our beach stuff on one and not get sand all inside. -Golf cart- was older but fast! We used it daily and enjoyed taking rides at night. -Building staff and amenities- building was clean and staff always working to keep it that way. -private beach- the condo has a private section on the beach and they enforce it. It was great bc it wasn’t busy and you had room to spread out and actual see the ocean. Cons: -Big Mike and Lil’ Lenny-(we named them) palmetto bugs and not just one. We saw/caught/disposed of many of them in the kitchen and the master bedroom. It’s not an infestation, but they are definitely present within the condo. -Dated -we knew this going in, but the pictures were deceiving online about how dated. -Nasty carpet -bedrooms -Non diligent mgmt co- contacted them before and during trip about reviews/concerns when we got there and nothing was ever solved. They pushed it off onto the owners.

Don’t Waste Your $$$

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The worst place I have stayed in many years. I will never rent from this “Management Group” again. We arrived after a 10 hour drive to have to wait for close to an hour to let us in unit because of dead batteries. Atleast 1 of our group had to stay in unit due to our code not working correctly. It was the next day after I text their number did that process get going. The door handle on side balcony was completely ripped off, we tried to attach but handle would not stay. The night we arrived, I noticed the disposal stopper had been lodged upside down in disposal. My husband removed only to have this foul smell coming out of disposal. That’s why it was lodged to mask that smell. I tried hot water, dawn & bleach. We put the stopper back in because the smell was so bad. MOLD.. the mold in master bathroom ceiling is growing.. you can clearly see it. The freezer was frozen shut and when we got opened there were chunks of ice. Lastly.. THE ROACHES.... In the kitchen sink... After dealing with this management company and this specific unit... RUN!!!!! There is nicer management companies & definitely nicer units. We stayed and rode it out but I have proof & pictures of it all plus conversations I tried having with these people. I asked to speak to the unit owner & was basically told no. SANDESTIN is an awesome place, DO NOT RENT FROM VACATION HAVEN... Find another company. Dig into the reviews. I did not do this until afterwards and that’s on me.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was ok, but not worth what we paid! Beachside One wasn’t enforcing their beach restrictions and we had people in front of us with umbrellas up and there was nobody checking to make sure people were staying there. The condo definitely needs an update. The fridge is a 2 door top and 1 drawer freezer. You could barely open the top right door because it was too close to the wall! Wouldn’t recommend this particular unit!
