Very comfortable and lovely place to stay while in Tucson. The home has been very thoughtful restored yet with modern comforts. The host was very helpful with places to visit and where to eat. Will stay here again for sure!
We stayed here for 18 nights, most of the time with 2 couples. The extra cottage on the property allowed for some privacy. The home is in a beautiful setting, the interior very tastefully decorated, embracing the homes historical roots.. Our host was very responsive. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!
The pictures don't do this property justice! It looked like it was going to be a very nice house but it was more thoughtful and cozy than I expected. I felt like all the decor was thoughtfully purchased for th house. Minimal and tasteful.
There were nice little touches like a basket or snacks, lotions, and robes that made the stay just a little nicer and easier.
The house was very clean and everything felt comfortable.
We had a great stay at this charming, historic home. The desert landscape is home to rabbits, squirrels and hummingbirds, all framed by a huge living room window with a beautiful mountain view. The temps were perfect for gathering day and night on the spacious patio under bright umbrellas or twinkle lights. This adobe home is perfect for two and also easily accommodated our family party of six. We mostly used the nicely outfitted kitchen for light meal prep and carry-in. There’s not a dishwasher, but that was no problem for a two-week stay.
This is a special home inside and out. Period paintings and art, comfortable furnishings and punched-tin lighting and accents make you feel immersed in Tucson history, yet enjoying all the comforts of an updated home. Sabino Canyon hiking is just 10 minutes away, Mt. Lemmon 20 minutes and downtown 20 minutes. Grocery stores, restaurants and shopping are all an easy and quick drive.
The host responded quickly to questions and has excellent suggestions for activities and restaurants. We will hope to return to this home for our next Tucson visit.
The details of the historical revival of this register historic Lowell district house is stunning - Casa Cheruy is a perfect place to immerse yourself in the historic vibe of Tucson.
My husband and I spent a week in this property with another couple. There was plenty of room and next time I would bring one more person or another couple with us as well. We all loved every minute being in this beautiful, historic home....across between living in a museum and an interior decorators dream. Every where you look there is beauty. It was also comfortable and practical. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, painting landscapes on the beautiful grounds, Qigong and yoga in the paved Back terrace, hikes and bike rides, and fires in the evening around the fire pit. The only down side is you can hear the road...a bit of reality in this dream of a place.
Wonderful casa for 6 people; historical, not overloaded with furniture, well stocked and nice size kitchen, great patio for BBQing; and just a very comfortable place to enjoy friends and company.
Absolutley lovely! I particularly enjoyed the descriptions in the guest book of the various artwork and sculpture around the home. We were there for a stay from San Francisco and could not recommend this property enough. The five of us stayed in the main house but the additional guest quarters are perfect if someone in your party would like additional privacy. It has such an historical ambience but has been updated with all the amenities. Thank you!

Historic and beautifully restored Adobe
This house is exquisitly updated and furnished; Demion has made it into a showpiece that delights the senses at every angle and in every room. The furniture is art and the art is (on the walls) is museum quality - all very comfortable, if a little sparse (could use a coffee table). Beds and linens are better than you'll find in the best hotels and the kitchen is well (and stylishly) equipped with everything you need to get started (just add milk!). Baths are updated but still retain the charm of the house style...the small act of moving from room to room was pleasing by itself. Spending time on the living room sofa offers a painting-like view of the yard through the beautifully framed windows - jackrabbits, roadrunners and the like will pass by on a regular basis. If you spend time outside, there is a lovely fire pit area (grounds are also extremely well-laid out). Essentially, this is a perfect place, with only one caveat: it is located just off a busy road (with noise, mostly only heard outside). The fact that the road proximity is not mentioned in any reviews is obviously due to the overwhelming experience of quality that you feel throughout the house and grounds. We were left quite appreciative of the labor of love that has made this house such a classy experience and would recommend a stay here wholeheartedly.

Great stay!
We had an excellent stay. The home is very well done and clean. The owner met us on time and was very gracious in showing us around the house briefly and answering questions. It's location was excellent not far from most the Catalina foot hills has to offer. The outside grounds are very spacious and the fire pit was nice with the little starter kit they have available. The gift basket of European coffee cookies, coffee and the Prosecco in the fridge was a very nice welcoming touch too. It is a vintage home so you do have several manual things to do like the dishes and separate switches on the wall sconces, but all in all none of that bothered us and we all chipped in and cleaned up after meals. We really enjoyed our stay! Highly Recommend and look forward to a future stay!

Great place for my family
We recently were in Tucson for a memorial service for my father as we honored and reflected on his long life. This was one of two houses that we rented on VRBO.
This was my first experience with VRBO and I was very impressed with the ease and detailed information offered as I booked and paid for this weekend.
This property was perfect for us. The kitchen was more than enough to feed my large family of 14. We loved the quiet and peaceful setting in the dessert.
There were many places for my family to spread out in the TV room, living room, kitchen, and in the large space outside.
Our favorite part of this property is the fire pit. We gathered abound the fire for a few hours enjoying a great time of fellowship.
I would definitely rebook this property...Extremely pleased!!!

Damion was great and we enjoyed our stay. He put a lot of thought into the needs of the guests and stocked the house with all the necessary amenities. Great experience with him and VRBO. Far better than Airbnb
