About this property

Newly-renovated stunning getaway, walk to town, garden, mountain views

Our home is a peaceful oasis in the middle of Ojai, minutes walk from the main street in town, situated on a lovely and completely quiet cul de sac street. The house was renovated from top to bottom in late 2017. The kitchen is fully redone, appliances are new, with an open view to the garden. Spanish tile and natural wood floors. There are two beautiful new bathrooms, redone with luxury in mind. The three bedrooms have all new furniture, linens and towels. A perfect getaway for a couple, a family, or a group of friends.

The open floor plan makes the entire home open to the large backyard and garden with fruit trees, view of the mountain range. Utter beauty and peace.

In 2019, we added a beautiful pool and re-landscaped the entire yard. The space has a magnificent oak tree, flagstone deck around the pool and a flagstone patio for lounging. In 2020 we added an outdoor kitchen with built-in grill, bar sink and outdoor refrigerator. We also added more lighting so the backyard serves as a second living room. Heaven!

Beautiful home in a great location!!

The home is in an ideal location, about a 5-7 minute bike ride to downtown, the farmers market restaurants and grocery stores. There is a heated pool (the pool boy comes weekly), basketball hoop and ping pong table that the kids and I loved. The home is very beautiful and spacious. Sharon, the owner was amazing and very responsive. Anything we needed she was there for. We will stay here in the future.

The property was perfect for my small family. The yard is spacious and the neighborhood is very quiet. You can be on the main street of Ojai in two minutes. I liked the modern simplicity and comfort. Definitely recommend it.

Nice house close to everything!

My husband and I stayed with another couple for the weekend to attend a concert at Libby Bowl. The house was clean and nicely decorated. The yard was pretty but it rained so we didn't spend time out there. The only reason for four stars is that a few "essentials" were missing like ample toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, iron and ironing board. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

This is a tastefully renovated home in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of windows offer views toward a natural themed backyard that felt very private. Walks offering stunning views of the surrounding hillsides are located closeby. Downtown is a good walk away. Would certainly stay again.

Why they chose this property

The spot of this property is ideal, an oasis near enough to town to walk or bike to the main street, but far enough to be removed from tourist spots. It is completely private on a quiet culture de sac street. The front yard has an olive tree, the backyard orange and pomegranate, birds come visit day and night. Views of the soaring mountains are on two sides. There is close access to the farmer's market on Sunday, the quaint shops and restaurants of downtown Ojai. Public tennis courts a few blocks away, golf and horse riding very near.

What makes this property unique

Ojai is a magical place, if you are lucky enough to get to know her. The people are warm, friendly and down to earth. The natural beauty of the valley unique and inspiring. This is a place to recharge and relax, especially if you love nature.
