If you are looking for a getaway retreat in between two of the principal towns of Costa Rica, this 5,000 ft2 (450m2) home is an option for you! It can be your homebase for any trip around the great metropolitan area, at a 2 hour drive from the beach, or 40 minute drive to volcano. For those who like the feeling of home on business trip, you can't miss this spot.

The house is tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort as part of a family gated property. It is well positioned in a quiet area between San Jose and Cartago, at about 10 minutes from downtown Cartago and 20 minutes from San Jose. It is accessible to shopping areas and supermarkets as well as tourist attractions such as the Laguna of Cachi, Tapanti National Park and Irazu Volcano. The home is surrounded by gardens, includes basketball court and soccer fields, ideal for nature lovers.

The space:
On the 1st floor: (open kitchen (4 ring stove), microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer combination), Living/diningroom, wood burning fireplace, front and back terrace with grill oven). On the adjoining upper level: balcony with view of San Jose city, master bedroom (king bed with master bath and walk-in closet), 2nd bedroom (queen bed), 3rd bedroom (queen bed, sofa bed, tv room with netflix and 2x single bed on mezzanine), bathroom (shower, washbasin, toilet), sitting room with office space.

Home includes ping pong table, trampoline, private soccer field/garden and cottage with BBQ, parking. Property in general: basketball court, soccer field (shared with second owner). Complimentary wireless Internet is available.

Maid service/cook may be available on site at additional cost (sleeping headquarters available for maid).

Covid Contingency: following vrbo guidelines we have made the following list of exceptions/recommendations.
1- Please minimize wandering off immediate house and sorrow songs and interactions with other home owners in property. Basketball court may be used if secondary home owners are not in premises. You can enjoy amenities of your home rental. Ping pong, bbq and play area.
2- As much as we normally offer cleaning service, massage and other beauty salon services, due to pandemic we prefer to avoid these for your safety.
3- We normally like to provide welcome basket but this also has been recommended to avoid. We are sorry.
4- There will be extra cleaning supplies in the house during your stay and the same will be spotless clean prior your arrival.
