Relaxing getaway

We all enjoyed our stay at this condo on South Padre Island! It was clean, updated, comfortable, in a great location, quiet, and relaxing! We would definitely choose this place again in the future! Next time we’re in SPI we’ll pay greater attention to the tow-away zones, though. Expensive lesson learned.

While this was a VBRO it was managed by Franke Reality. They were so easy to work with and trustworthy. The unit is exactly as pictured. Clean and comfortable.

Condo is right in on the water. Condo had everything we needed for a comfortable stay except for a can opener. We bought one and left it there. Beds are comfortable, condo clean and very relaxing vacation. Also, the elevator was down when we arrived and my mom had a little accident climbing the stairs. After a phone call, the property had the elevator issue resolved. Thank goodness my elderly mother was ok after falling down.

Lovely ocean front condo with the best view and accommodations!

Our family of 4 adults enjoyed the comforts of this condo, the fabulous balcony views, the beach proximity, the heated pool and jacuzzi. We’d love to come back soon!

Great oceanfront location with a beautiful view. Very peaceful to sit on the balcony and see the sun rise. Easy parking. Very clean condo with everything you need for a relaxing vacation.

Beautiful Beach

We enjoyed our girls trip to South Padre. The Edgewater Condo was nice and not crowded. The rooms were clean and we had a short walk to the beach. We would have liked to have beach chairs and umbrellas to rent or use but other than that it was great! I would stay here again!

On the beach!

Stayed during July 4th. The fireworks on the bayside were amazing. We walked over there because it was so close- 2 blocks. Next time will book a boat to enhance the viewing experience. The condo was pretty comfortable. Living room has plenty of seating. Great large flat screen. The living furnishings are not overly comfortable though. Beautiful round dining room table for our entire party for lunch/dinner. There was a large electric grill available but we did not take advantage. The master bedroom matress was really comfortable. Each room had a ceiling fan which was very welcoming after spending a day at the beach. The AC was amazing. The fridge had glass shelves which seemed rather fragile. A couple of board games are available. Also the balcony has seating for four to enjoy the sunrise or listen/see the waves in the late evening before bed. Loved the pool but it closed at 10:30 pm. I am an early-to-bed person but since we were on vacation after finishing with all our activities on the beach and on Padre boulevard it was sad that we could not enjoy a late night dip in the pool. Security was always visible at night walking the grounds. Bring blankets; comforters and coverlets for the beds are provided but they are not luxurious at all. Towels were provided. They also offered soap for the kitchen/baths. They offered soap bars for the baths so bring a soap pump dispenser if that is what you prefer. Very nice tile in the living/dining/kitchen areas. The bedrooms have a nice carpet. The condo never seemed crowded. I rented beach umbrellas and chairs from a company flyer posted on the elevator. This was great, too bad I didn’t find out until the second day we were there. We had to walk down to rent/camp in front of another condo property because of permits and zones. Once I discovered the company I could utilize in front of Edgewater, I was much happier. Also we utilized the public access to the beach because it provided a much better, traction path clear of sand. About 2/3 of Edgewater path’s traction mats are submerged under sand or missing. This made trekking to the beach cumbersome with all our toys/cooler. Trust me, use the public access path next to Edgewater property.
