Wonderful location

The host Robert is very welcoming. He explains everything on your arrival. The appartement is central, we walked everywhere easely. The grocery store is around the corner. Amsterdam is a beautiful city but beware of the bicycles, they are everywhere

Excellent location! It was very clean and suited our needs. 3rd floor, no elevator so just be aware that you'll need to move your bags upstairs. The only drawback was that the beds were singles, not twins, so they were very small and one of the beds is in the closet. This home is otherwise occupied by the owners so all of their things are in the apartment, including some artwork that some may find a little racey. We also struggled with the heat (it was very cold) snd we could not keep the apartment warm.

Lovely apt in a great area

This is the second time we have stayed here. The apt is large and airy and Robert is an extremely helpful host! The area is fantastic, great shops and amenities, far enough out of the busy areas to be peaceful but easy to walk everywhere. Thanks for a seamless stay!

Gorgeous place + warm, accommodating host

We had a wonderful stay. The place is beautiful, sleek and immaculate - yet still comfortable. Large common area/kitchen with terrace - a perfect hang out for the 4 of us. Robert was super helpful throughout. All in all, close to perfection.

Best neighborhood in Amsterdam

We really enjoyed our stay in Robert’s apartment. Very quaint, very quiet street in the middle of a neighborhood with excellent restaurants, fun and welcoming bars full of locals, and walkable to everything we wanted to see. The apt gets a lot of light, which is great, and although it rained most of our visit, we enjoyed having the balcony.

Beautiful and serene apartment nestled in an amazing area.

Robert's top floor apartment is welcoming and spacious. Immediately immersing you into a quiet Amsterdam street. Trees line the view from the balcony, and it is nearly impossible to not feel relaxed. Robert was an amazing host, accommodating our late arrival due to flight delays. The apartment contains everything you'll need to relax from hours of walking or biking around Amsterdam. I would absolutely stay here again, and cannot wait to come back.

Perfect stay

Quiet neighborhood, romantic restaurants out the door. We slept like babies in the secret bookcase bedroom. Two caveats worth knowing. It’s 4 flights of stairs as an only entrance for those it might represent an issue for. For that same group the airplane sized toilet room might present challenges. Neither of these were obstacles for us and would recommend it highly for those without movement limitations.

Excellent location

The location cannot be beat. Very quiet residential street but close to great shops and restaurants and walking distance to the museums. The host is very nice and responsive. Big windows and uncluttered. It could use another comfortable chair to face the couch if you are three people. It needs one bright lamp that you can move around. We got used to the low level of light at night. Probably good for setting up circadian rhythms for sleep. But reading at night is hard. I would definitely stay here again.

Location, location, location...the property is central yet quaint. The restaurants/cafes at the end of the street are full of warm and inviting staff. The apartment served its purpose during our stay. The bathroom is extremely tight, making it a challenge to use it with the door closed and the sink is not really operational as it spills water all over the floor. There is another sink across the hall where you can go to wash up after using the restroom. One bedroom is behind a newly constructed built in bookcase, making it a secret room with a hidden entry. Our daughter was 18, so this was not an issue, however it was dark and not fully finished yet. Our son unexpectedly joined us at the last minute and Robert was kind enough to work this out with us as it was an unplanned guest. Our only concern was the extra guest charge on his rental site states one price and he charged us 3x that price and would not charge us through the VRBO, but instead asked us to pay in cash to his wife who was staying in the apartment below. Luckily, we had the cash to spare and it all worked out.

Very nice apartment, very responsive owner

The 3 of us stayed at the apartment for 1 week. The apartment is very nice - clean and light and just as described. The balcony is a big plus. The owners are very responsive and accommodating. Robert answered all our questions we had beforehand and even let us check in earlier. I would highly recommend this place!

Die Wohnung und auch die Vermieter waren wie in den Bewertungen und den Fotos beschrieben. Alles wirklich sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Übergabe war professionell - die Kommunikation während des Aufenthaltes verlief reibungslos mit Eva & Robert. Tolle Lage - einerseits sehr ruhig und trotzdem nur 10 Minuten fußläufig mitten ins Geschehen. Jederzeit wieder.

Great location

We had a wonderful stay. Robert was so helpful and welcoming, and the property was just as displayed. The apartment was very large and bright and in a wonderful location. We were able to get around very easily just walking. The neighborhood was quiet, with lots of restaurants and a lovely little park nearby.

Great location

We love walking up the street to the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam center. Easy walk to many restaurants and museums. There are a lot of stairs to climb to access apartment and stairs inside but that was no bother for us. Just an FYI. Robert is very responsive to questions and nicely waited for my son to arrive.
