Prominent Pampering Victorian 3400 sq ft Sleeps 4-10 -
This is a Victorian home in wonderful trendy Lakewood, close to everything in downtown Cleveland including Edgewater Park but set in a the most desirable suburb for restaurants, entertainment and safety. Metro parks and the lake are all walking distance as are the most loved restaurants.
Relax on Comfortable furniture including curated vintage displays and special photo worthy antiques. One of our recent guests guilty pleasure was walking a half mile to the designer chocolatier "Sweet Designs" the building was painted Chocolate brown & makes you crave their speciality chocolates.
Lakewood is a gorgeous tree-lined community and the house is on 1/3 acre. 5 bedrooms 2 baths. Large dining room. Sunny eat in kitchen. The front porch with its romantic ceiling fans is for hanging out on!!! as is the shady side door sand stone patio. With 70+ creative unique ( not chain) restaurants and bars in the area you can't go wrong. The Indians games are ten min drive, and the Browns too. Playhouse square is a 15 min drive. Edgewater Park and the nearby art scene is four miles away. Cleveland knows how to have fun.
The museums and the orchestra are only 15-20 min drive and then there is the FLATS on the Cuyahoga River leading out to Lake Erie. Did someone say: CASINO? It's a straight shot down the street to the Shoreway to reach the Casino in 15 min.
The Cleveland Metro Parks and Rocky River are only 5 to 10 min away. You can reach Rocky River Reservation for biking, hiking, rollerblading and boating by walking or driving.
This is a well loved family home set up for our guests to have memorable times with each other. We've had multiple Super Bowl Champs stay here as well as Broadway show singer/actors.
This 3 story house has a beautiful history and was owned by the same family from 1902-1958. We have been the owners since 1986 and keep on restoring and improving every area. We love to help you find just the right restaurants to go to since we are foodies too. Hint: El Carnicero is walking distance from us. Want to exercise while here? The Lakewood YMCA just built a new building and everyone loves the pool and work out equipment. Ask us about how you can use this facility when you stay. Pier W is only 2 miles away. WE are also open to longer stays of 2 weeks to 2 or 3 mos at a time. Just ask. NOTE 1. Bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd fl with a special chair that turns into a twin bed in the living room if needed. NOTE 2: This historic 124 yr old home cannot provide the electric an electric car needs to charge.

We loved staying in this very large house with lots of character, many amenities and a great location in a beautiful neighbourhood west of Cleveland. Our host was very responsive, friendly and helpful with many tips for an enjoyable stay. I would definitely go back.
We loved our stay here! My family came to visit Lakewood and Cleveland and this was a great location. The home was charming and as advertised, plenty of space for my husband, two kids and my parents to all stay comfortably. Beautiful home and wonderful neighborhood!
Super Holiday, Susan was available if needed and the house will hold lifelong memories of the Eclipse and Cleveland. Thank you so much, all the family had a great experience.
The house served all of our needs as we were in town to visit family. The house was easy to find and access and all the supplies were available to us to make it our home away from home. The host communicated very well on our visit to ensure we had all the details we needed.
We were in Cleveland for the Billy Joel concert. We picked this house because of the charm it had and the number of bathrooms and bedrooms. We basically lived on that front porch - so cozy with a lovely ge the breeze
The only negative to the stay was that the 2nd bathroom was in the basement. A bit far from the besrooms
The host was great The property is in a good neighborhood walking distance to many shops and restaurants The house has character not the typical Ikea filled house.
We absolutely enjoyed our visit. The house was full of gorgeous woodwork, antiques and a beautiful yard that romantically lit up at night. The beds were super comfortable and Susan was a great hostess! You can't beat the location which is close to everything you would need. The house was very clean and cozy! We look forward to another visit!
We had a sewer backup our first morning, but our host addressed the problem right away, and Angie cleaned thoroughly and took good care of us. We had room for our extended family to be comfortable and the location was perfect. Susan checked in with us frequently to make sure we were comfortable.
Susan is a wonderful hostess! We love the house and the location is fabulous! So close to everything. Susan recommended seeing the sunset from the solstice steps at Lakewood Park and it did not disappoint! If coming to Cleveland again I would definitely stay here again.
Thank you Susan for sharing your beautiful house with us!
Our lovely niece/cousin had a bridal shower nearby, and us out of towners (4 adults an 1 child) had a short, but sweet stay in this charming house. There was plenty of room and very homey and comfortable. Susan was very easy to contact. We’re hoping to possibly stay again for next summer’s wedding!

Clean older side by side home. No bathroom on first floor.
Attractive and somewhat creaky100 plus year old side by side. 3 bedrooms on 2nd floor and 2 on third floor. 1 bath with clawfoot tub on 2nd floor and other bath with shower stall is in basement. Stairs and no first floor toilet makes this a difficult fit for the mobility challenged. Strict cancellation and checkin time policy.
If you are looking for a HOME with character for your getaway, this is the place for you. The house is very well-appointed. Susan was very accommodating and went above and beyond with restaurant recommendations, etc. The bedrooms are all upstairs. The bathrooms are in the basement and on the second floor. There is a great front porch and backyard, if you're traveling when the weather is good for being outside. We enjoyed our stay very much. Also, the area is beautiful! I love that it is just outside of Cleveland. There were lots of things to do in the area.
Stepping back in history with this lovely Victorian era home. Cozy, warm and comfortable. Large dining room for dinner and games at the table made for festive times. French country kitchen was inviting. Memories were made and the host made it possible. She was welcoming, caring and felt like a friend. She offered excellent vet recommendations due to an emergency and where to take a lovely walk and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere in the area. Truly a gem!

Cleveland Victorian house
The Owner/Host is very kind, communicative and helpful. The home certainly has “character” - if you are charmed by that. That said, be aware the home is quite old and virtually any movement will be heard throughout the house. Plenty of bedrooms - a major advantage for larger families/groups; but inadequate bathrooms (two small bathrooms), inconveniently located for all but the second floor. Shower arrangements are poor and possibly hazardous, particularly for those who may be elderly or physically challenged. Second floor bathroom includes a claw foot bath tub, risky to climb into or out of, encircled by a barely adequate plastic shower curtain. The downstairs bathroom (2 floors down from the main bedrooms on second floor) - actually in a dungeon-like basement and quite possibly put together as part of an eighth grade shop project - has a standup shower, quite tiny, with a plastic curtain door that will hopefully keep most of the water in. It’s a musty, damp basement and your towels will most likely not dry. The home is in need of fairly significant maintenance, old well-worn furniture, things don’t work (it’s an adventure to find light switches that work), and some items are in need of significant repair (the vanity top in the dungeon bathroom, for example, is not quite attached to it’s base - don’t lean on it!). Also, be very careful backing out of the driveway as you immediately back onto a fairly busy street - quite dangerous!
Stair Handrails are inadequate.
This house had plenty of space and bedrooms - we could have stayed for a week! It was in a convenient location, which made it easy to get to all the places we had planned like the zoo, apple picking farms, casino and visiting family.
Our family booked this place to stay for a few days for our grandpa’s 100th birthday. The place is as Victorian as it can be and offers a lot of character and authentic appeal. The neighborhood is quiet and quite accessible to a lot of stores and restaurants. Susan, the property owner is so nice and responsive. The place is clean and stocked up. I highly recommend this place for anyone who appreciates a different home-y ambience. We will definitely hope to come back again.
